Happy birthday Marru.................. for you http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFh-rX_SfhsSome days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -

Hey Everyone
Well it's the end of week 3 in Kampala. This time next week and I'll be halfway through  Fieldwork has been going really well, although the Easter hols are cramping my style a bit as all the repair shops are closed. So doing lots of reading instead, which is very useful indeed. Everyone here left for the weekend, and I wanted to stay and work, so I thought I would be really lonely over my birthday. Then in walked an old friend I met here last year. What a wonderful, special birthday present! Cue lots of catching up and some special gin and tonics on the terrace.
Just having Ginger Nuts and fruit tea for breakfastSo bored of toast! Have a very happy Easter everyone. Happy birthday Marru! Crickett, I was so pleased to hear your news, and MG that's wonderful about your pension.

Wow - what a coincidence Lara . DS1 was just asking how you were getting on - although he has trouble remembering all the names I talk about and refers to you as "the-brave-mobile-lady-in-africa" Maybe it could be your American Indian name :rotfl:
Ginger nuts and tea - sounds like a perfect Easter Sunday breakfast to me ..................... In fact I can't remember the last time I made Ginger nuts??? Maybe when I was pregnant with DS2? Time to look out that recipe for another go.
You sound so happy my love ....................... and that makes my heart sing this Sunday. You have all our blessing on this birthday week :EasterBun
