I also like the idea of debt counselling at CAB, but obviously working FT normal office hours, I can only really do after work or weekends - and those slots are full too.
...Jury Service really appeals though, not sure why. It's just something I think I would 'enjoy' (but not in the fun sense of the word).[/QUOTE]Memory_Girl wrote: »Or if you are in Scotland - the Childrens Panel is always looking for sensible level headed people.
A work colleague is on something called the Youth Justice Panel here in Wales, very rewarding by sound of it. Not sure if they have that in Scotland but worth looking at.

Matrix... you totally rock!
I have just been taken to one side and told by my New Best Friend, aka the cowbag, that she is pregnant and after September, she won't be here for a while. The way she phrased it was "I won't be here anymore". I don't know if that means she is not coming back, or if she won't be full time and things will change lots.
You have no idea how much this pleases me!I am going to go home tonight and start crocheting a baby blanket for the new arrival!

Goodness me Crickett, what wonderful news for you both
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I've spent half the day clearing out my old PhD office. Felt so good to throw loads of old things away (although I still brought home an enormous pile of stuff, oh dear!). However, I was actually supposed to be at work todayso I'm going to have to work half of tomorrow instead
But never mind, a job done!

Crickett - great news
Has anyone ever tried to sign up with Equ1fax?
Never mind managed to do it with the other one and funnily there was nothing about my personal loan that I made F&F for neither there was nothing about the county court judgement I am supposed to have.
I have now started nibbling that mahoosive frog and posted on the main DFW forum. However nobody has replied as yetThe post is HERE
