That should be in capitals, MG - He Who Does His Own Stunts
I'm ever so impressed at the HM chappatis....2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Chapattis are a doddle.
1 cup chapatti flour (or 1 cup of wholemeal flour with the bits sieved out)
1 tbsp veg oil
Enough warm water to make a soft dough
Make a soft dough and set aside for 15 minutes.
Take ping-pong ball sized pieces and roll out in to a circle.
Heat a non stick frying pan untl very hot and then cook the chapatis or a few minutes each side until they bubble and look dry wth brown spots.
Store in a tea towel until they are all cooked.
Serve with balti, dhal and indian side dishes like raitha and pickle.
These are yum - and only a penny or two each to make (we eat 3 and DS2 eats 2)

Reading about your curry reminds me, I once had an amazing banana and chickpea curry, and keep meaning to look up a recipe for it. But I suppose I can adapt any chickpea curry recipe really.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Here you go - a "rigger" is someone who hangs lights, sound equipment and sets in a theatre. "Knickers" - well - cos that's what they look like.:rotfl:

Hi guys
Havent posted for ags but do catch up every now and then....! Just a quick one to see if anyone knows if the course is going on in Brum tomorrow and if so where?
Or if someone can direct me to the othe matrix site that would be great! thanks0 -
plzhelpmesave! - If you are talking about a MG course, then I would assume it will not be going ahead in Brum.
Also, tomorrow/today is a Monday which is even more confusing as the originall course list only happened at weekends ...
NL0 -
ok thanks northernlas...thought there was one for 18th april??0
-
Well I've eaten my frog, and it wasn't as bad as I'd thought it would be :rotfl:
Had an interesting discussion over the weekend about K4K with a Zimbabwean friend......seems that *sometimes* Africans (whole continent meant here) view Impatient Europeans as the chance for getting some extra dosh. And time wasting is deliberate........
I kinda guessed that
And I have the Tightwad Gazette - some good ideas there, but she is strangely driven. What is she using all the money she's saved for? Not for living it would seem0
