Memorygirls - The Matrix Reloaded

Morning Matrix. *Yawn*. I did go to practice last night (and just as well I did, because the bits we rehearsed... I really needed to rehearse!
) I am still pretty sleepy this morning though. Luckily, I don't have any meetings today, so I am just going to batter the to do list again (and try and keep up with you guys!) So glad that the teleconference seemed to work last night (after some teething problems). I love how technology really seems to help people come together! Gives me goosebumps!
Plan for the rest of my day is work like stink until 4pm, drive home, then housework (and lots of it. Hubby appears to have lost the directions to the cleaning kit and indeed the ability to operate the vaccuum!) and then kitten feeding. I will feed us as well, and leave hubby to clear it all up afterwards. After dinner I think I might retire up the stairs for some quiet time for myself. Crafting or reading or somesuch. And then bed. By... ooh, I don't know... 7.30pm!!
Have a good day everyone!!"A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -

Good morning
Sun shining, a load of washing in the machine, bed stripped ready to go in after that
Dh is home with the stomach bug that is going around.
Got loads to do today, Ds2 school trousers don't fit he couldn't do them up this morning so he had to wear jeans to school and take a letter, so I now need to find a new pair today.
Need to pop to the college beauty Salon as dh paid for me to be waxed last week and only paid for my legs and I had my underarms done too, so I owe them money, plus one of my nails need repairing, then pop to the market to get some baking stuff from sugar hut to make 2 birthday cakes. ( may need the matrix help on this
)

Morning all.
Glad the conference went well. Will pop over to read the bits that I missed. Sorry but Moo was insistent to go for a walk. Just back from the forest with him now. The bluebells are all coming up now so I might head out with the camera this evening.
Heading on the long commute to the office now (back bedroom) where I will be pouring over the computer all day. Have a great one everybodySome days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
Target for today is to clear out my office.
I need to turn it into a space that DS1 and I can ALSO use as a classroom - somewhere to leave work in progress etc away from sticky little toddler fingers.
I figure if I can square up that room there is loads of stuff lying aroung in piles that can be moved up there and put neatly away - leaving the rest of the house better organised.
Its tough finding places for everything.
Then I really need to revisit the building of the walls for DS2's room again. In the shower this morning I realised that if he was upstairs and I could rent out my room down here - I would have a 50% payrise:eek:. I'm horrified that I am letting potential pennies slip through my fingers like that - the difference it could make to the boys lives.
Off with my bin bags again

My only excuse (reason) is that I've been feeling negative over this job situation and redundancy. That however is no reason for me to project my negatives in here. So I'm sorry (insert red-faced smiley):o.
The four hour working week stuff was soooooo negative, and the thing is, if I was in an up-beat frame of mind, I would probably have tried to embrace it and sort of adapt its principles etc.
Feel free to tell me straight if I get like that again.
You have all been a strength of support and positivity to me and again I apologise.xMemory_Girl wrote: »I think the deal is as long as we all have our wobbles at different times then everything is fine.
How can you stay negative when you have a Great Dane to luuurrrrvvvveeee???
Up to three bin bags now - including a bx of stuff I had in Berlin 18 years ago!!!!!Fantasia what MG saidwe all have our moments. I dont think you were particularly negative just questioning and we all have to question things sometimes.
Now for those of you that need a little perspective I just got this in my personal inbox. On lunch so that is allowed

Yup!! like I say a 50% payrise :T
Or put it another way - if we live on what we have been living on now - its 34 leaves of my mortgage tree - or 3.4% of the mortgage itself.
I've cleared the floor so that I can run the tape measure around to find out the dimensions of the wall to start collecting the timber.
I have also been brave and put HALF of my recipe book collection into the car to go to the Charity Shop (the half that I use less of course)
Just down for another black bin liner

I'm trying to think of it as "not" throwing out, but "releasing" them to go and be loved by someone else
It's hard though:(
