Good luck with the decluttering, MG - I love the results when I do it!
Both express ,Karmacat, that things are never black and white, and while I can relate to one, cant relate to the other if that makes sense. My reality right now is get a job and make an income, but passion counts for nothing, and I find that hard to relate to.

Fantasia, absolutely understand that priority - its difficult to relate to passion being unimportant in the jobs *market*, but slowly slowly I guess we start up our own thing. I'm working on an idea, just found out how to get free hosting for my very-cheap domain name, so now I'm working on the details of content. Its slow, but in the future it will see me well, I think. I hope you find something soon.xxx
Morning MG and the rest of the Matrix. I have a to do list with its own field of gravity, again! So, I shall be lurking for a lot of this week. I have finished my first 100 days of this year and I am about to go and make a list of my challenges for the next 100 - I have posted my assessment of the first 100 over on the other side. Right... got lots to do both at home and at work. Best make a start. Good Luck MG with your decluttering. I need to do the same in my house.

I love that :rotfl:I'd better start back on my own to-do list in a mo - just need to pop onto my own thread first.

DS1 is gone ................. it's funny, but although he is a VERY quiet boy, the house seems empty without him.

Well - here's to the house being a lot more empty by the time he gets back on Friday

Just been told by my boss that the person I have a real problem with, and the person who I sit next to at the moment will be swopping desks…. Which means that the person I have a real problem with is going to be sitting next to me. Oh Hell.:mad::mad:

Now I am not going to be able to go online during the day, unless its for work. And she is going to be commenting on what I am doing and how I am doing it. I need to ask the Universe for lots of things – patience, a steadfast spirit and a wicked right hook if necessary!! :D

can you change where you put your monitor so she can't see it when she glances across?

A very tall stack of in trays between you? (Sounds like you could easily justify that one!!)

    A nice jungly pot plant?
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

And has your boss explained the reason for this change? Is it a valid one?

Can you rearrange your stuff on your desk so she can't see your screen? And can you get a privacy filter (if you're dealing with confidential information you should really have one anyone... TBH, might be worth investing in one yourself!) and use headphones to listen to music to help you concentrate?

Imagining you sitting at your desk being surrounded by a bubble that the negatve vibes just bounce off .................... swiftly followed by the negative lady receiving an offer for her dream job so that she gets the hell out of your Universe:D

...................... either that or we convert her to the ways of the Matrix :rotfl:

Got one bin bag ready to go into the bin and 3 carriers and one box to go to the Charity shop. My "dumping" cupboard inthe hallway now has a few "repair" bits that I will soon need and a dozen suitable jars sitting in it (the good sized ones for jam). Everything else has gone, gone gone.

Mind you I think I am using that easy one as an excuse not to tackle the office / classroom

So like Claire - think I may have head up the stairs for a while.... first bags into the car and bin so that I am not tempted to "rescue anything"

I will see if I can change the monitor, though I am on a straight desk, so health and safety dictates that the monitor is also straight. I like the idea of the pot plant... and in trays...! Thank you!

Well, the reason for the change is to monitor the lad who sits next to me. He has not been doing his job very well in the past few weeks and has had disciplinary actions about this. So, it makes sense. It just makes my life tricky. Again, good ideas re privacy filter. I suspect I am going to be plugged into headphones a lot in the next few months!! :rotfl:
