  • Imagining you sitting at your desk being surrounded by a bubble that the negatve vibes just bounce off .................... swiftly followed by the negative lady receiving an offer for her dream job so that she gets the hell out of your Universe:D

...................... either that or we convert her to the ways of the Matrix :rotfl:

I have asked the Universe to let her get pregnant and never come back to work (she is due to be getting married soon!) :D All help with the Universe gratefully received!! :D:D:D

    I have got
    1. Two boxes of washable nappies and liners and pads
    2. A IKEA birch cot and new matress
    3. A stairgate
Get yout thinking hats on - who do you know is pregnant and is going to be a MSM ( moneysavingmamma)

PM me if you find anyone - if not then would anyone be prepared to Freecycle them for me (don't feel safe having people pop around here when I am on my own IYSWIM)

They have to be gone by Friday - so lets find them a great home.

    Oh Pants. :(:(:(:(:(:(

Just been told by my boss that the person I have a real problem with, and the person who I sit next to at the moment will be swopping desks…. Which means that the person I have a real problem with is going to be sitting next to me. Oh Hell.:mad::mad:

Now I am not going to be able to go online during the day, unless its for work. And she is going to be commenting on what I am doing and how I am doing it. I need to ask the Universe for lots of things – patience, a steadfast spirit and a wicked right hook if necessary!! :D

Hmmm - my first thought was 'who is being moved'? The person currently next to you, or the person who is moving to sit next to you - and why are they being moved? Is it possible that the person you have a problem with has been moved because the person they are currently next to has a problem with them too?
    (does that make any sense?)

I love a good plan - it may not work.... but I love a good plan!

It is the latter actually... but the person who is moving next to me is someone I find very difficult to deal with. She is unrelentingly negative and just... horrible really. And yes... it made sense! :D

Oh Crickett I feel your pain, I've just had a bombshell at work too :(:( My second lovely boss has just told me great news of her new job but it also means she'll be moving to a new assistant and I'll be keeping the 2 harridans who made my life hell (but who are also on maternity leave at the moment). Trying hard to find the positivies and have spoken with first lovely boss who has bolstered my confidence about it....but at least I will still have a job (my first panic was that I'd be made redundant as for the next few months I'll only have one boss), and I know I can talk to him about stresses.

There must be silver linings to every cloud.....maybe your new desk buddy will get have a honeymoon baby or maybe her new husband will get all 1950's on her and make her stay at home and warm his pipe and slippers?!? You can but hope.....

Like MG I also need to declutter and also have a roll of bin liners but no motivation to get off my a$$ and do it...until later in the week when I'm conscious that I have friends coming for dinner for the first time to my house and I don't want the place to look like the municipal tip!

Will catch up properly tonight seeing as summer has passed.

but MG - have asked a couple of folk in my work - no-one knows anyone needing stuff at the moment - I think babies are too expensive
And chainsaw is in for servicing but I'm not happy about DH cutting down a tree - cutting up is no problem but not cutting down - but I may have something else I can offer - need to speak to someone in work first

    Take care

Righto - car is stuffed full ready to go the CS.

Time to make lunch for my littlie - and then round to the CS, then off to the park I think cos the sun has come blasting through (having been rained on this morning)

Every trip out with a bag or box is one closer to having a house I can clean in an hour (well a girl can dream can't she???)

Wouldn't that be amazing if you could clean a house in an hour......It takes me an hour just to find one of the kitchen worksurfaces most days!!
