Sounds good, but can I pass on skinny and famous please - don't want to be either of those - I'll go for healthy and successful instead please! :D (You may notice I didn't pass on rich!)

Just looking up Chicken Tikka recipes as I have a fancy for making some from scratch, and as I bought chicken thighs/drumsticks for use one day this week (Tesco's own corn-fed free range is good value at the moment) I think I might play in a while. Found a recipe which looks promising on the BBC Good Food site - can anyone recommend a good substitute for Fenugreek seeds though as I don't have those.

Celery leaves or chopped watercress ;)

Thank you Ocean Spirit, this is indeed something to think about. Have a look at. much appreciated.
Positive vibes for all who need them xx
  • Morning one and all. Feeling very, very tired this morning as I went to my first choir rehearsal in AGES last night, which meant I didn't get home until 10pm, and then although I was shattered... I woke up at 3.45am with my brain going 19 to the dozen. Oh dear. Think I might be getting through today on adrenalin, sugar and tea!! I have another late night tonight, as we are having a Lenten knitting circle at Church... and I am going for the first one tonight. If I feel like the living dead tomorrow, I shan't be attending another one!! :D

The house looked incredible last night. Hubby had painted the hallway and did some cleaning up, and amazingly, had managed to keep it looking clean and tidy as well. This is nothing short of miraculous!! :D I am hoping he can keep it up all week as everyday we have estate agents or gas service men or plasterers or someone else popping in and making judgements about our house! It is easier to keep a clean house clean, I always think. I am sending thoughts to the Universe about the people who are going to buy our little house. I think they are going to be a young couple, just starting out in life together, and I am imagining them finding a bottle of wine on the kitchen counter when they move in with a label on it saying "Welcome to your new home! We hope you will be as happy here as we have been". And when they look out of the kitchen window, the ancient hedge will be in full leaf, and there will be a blue sky and sunshine. :D

Right, got tonnes of work to do. Nice to hear from you MG. Take care. (oh, and I will do anything... but the ironing!! :D)

Thank you! Useful tip there. Unfortunately I didn't have either of those, either, so have gone without in the end. (also just realised I forgot the coriander leaves - DOH! Oh well - will stir some in tomorrow before cooking)

MG forgot to say sorry, we have spring down here, and we're keeping it for a while I'm afraid! :rotfl:

Crickett your knitting circle sounds very sociable and nice - have fun! The house is also sounding excellent - I seem to recall that the positive vibes worked for Hypno so no reason why we can't do it again! (Your couple are also first time buyers by the way, with a mortgage already in place, so no chain and delays, and dead keen to go ahead quickly!)

Belated happy birthday Bitsy and welcome back MG!

Off sick with nasty cold and horrible earache - everything on hold for a few days as I don't even feel up to reading. Been ages since I've been off sick and ill enough to just do nothing and think very little. It's probably good for me!

    Well - I'm blonde again!!!:D

Stupid really, as it only takes 30 minutes to colour your hair, but I have been putting it off for yonks as I couldn't gather the energy.

So nice shiny coat again - unfortunately I still have the cold shiny nose too:rotfl:

Next mountain to climb - the scary Ackminster carpet that appears to have colonised my lower legs - will have to wait until tomorrow though. Need to sharpen the garden strimmer first:eek:
