I have TONNES to do at work and no motivation to get any of it done. I want the weekend to start NOW. And I am feeling grumpy because it isn't. Which is not really sensible, but it is the way I feel at the moment.
Have good day and a nice weekend one and all.
Why not try some 15 minute bursts Crickett? So sort the stuff into piles according to urgency / motivation levels or other category of your choosing, and then do 15 minute bursts on one thing at a time until you start seeing progress?redsquirrel80 wrote: »Happy Friday Matrixettes.. hugs and cups of tea/ glasses of fizz all round I think.
I feel shattered this week, despite only working four days, but for once I actually feel on top of work and like I've achieved something (with only a little undercurrent of 'hmm there must be something I've forgotten...). And I've had a mysterious payrise according to my payslip for Monday, which is nice!
I like "Matrixettes" Squizz! :T I also like the sound of your payrise - how exciting!
Cheri Glad things are starting to look a bit more positive - I'm still sending positive vibes for the sale of the flat!
Bitsy - fab news for your H - I'll certainly send some positive vibes his way for you! I'm sure you're right about the huge amount of experience he has going in his favour too.
Lara - so there will be lost of 15 minute bursts happening in your world this weekend, too!
Apparently there is another eBay free listing weekend this weekend - doubt I will be able to take advantage this time round though as I'm going to be away visiting a friend for quite a bit of the time. Might manage to get some on on Sunday evening - we'll see.
My Electricity monitor has turned up from British Gas today - (it was a freebie for adding energysmart to the account) so I've been playing with that!Amazing the difference it makes turning things on and off - the kettle is , might have to cut back on the tea I drink! (Nah! :rotfl:) The laptop, however, uses practically nothing!
Right - off to sort out the bits I need to take to my friend's with me!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Lara - keep popping on over the weekend - someone should be around to cheer you on.
Bitsy - positive vibes and fingers and toes crossed for your dh :j
EH - I couldn't do without my cups of tea either - life would just not be worth living :rotfl:
To all those people at work - almost there, keep going
Must go and rescue some  veggies and turn them into soup - waste not want not. Then I should do some ironing if I can find the motivation. I'll be glad when half-term is over so that we can get back to our normal routines.
Take care all, Thriftyxxx0 -
Escape is mine. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! x0

Good luck Lara! We'll be cheering you on :T :T
Enjoy Chester - I grew up near there and stil love it
((matrixettes indeed)))))))) :j :j
Busy busy here. Not long got in from a field trip with work, house is rather a tip (we're busy turning it into a palace - which seems to involve turning it into a rubbish tip first :rotfl:), my mum and auntie are arriving at 10am tomorrow morning, and tomorrow night we're having an end-of-phd party
So tonight will be lots of 15 minute bursts and cheery music I think :T :T Right now it's feeling rather overwhelming, so I'm thinking a nice cup of tea and a sit down first0 -

Hope you signed up for your nectar points too. They also have an option to compare your usage to other customers in your area. I was relieved to see that mine was on the low side for both gas and elec - which is good given that I work from home!0 -

Ahh signing off work for tonight. I did more but not the bit I should have. I'm expanding this essay rather than re-writing what I have already got!! Oh well tomorrow is another day. At least the introduction makes more sense now. I decided to start with the hard, hated bits and not leave them until the end as usual
Hugs to everyone, hope MG pops in soon.
