Not had the best day and was thinking all the postiveness on here may help to buck me up.

Instead I have spat my tea over the laptop at blood test outcomes, cried for those with fertility issues, felt humbled by those who have been through so much to have their family, grinned at those brave enough to say parenting is not for them, laughed at the thought of the mentors (& Mike) reading this and thinking what the ....

So thank you one and all for getting me out of my funk :T

Was on the pill for years, knew that I would never be a Mum (but I am a fab Aunty to my sister's kids and friends kids), ended up with a hysterical rectum and now on HRT as the enforced menopause is vile.

Used to shave everything except eyebrows which were plucked until the eye sight started fading but now get legs, pits, eye brows and bikini line waxed. I have had it sone for so many years that it doesn't hurt AT ALL anymore and it takes less than half an hour every 6-8 weeks (more in winter when nobody sees :rotfl:). Hoping to keep this little expense in my budget after I am made redundant in April, fingers crossed :D

Oh well, tomorrow is another day and it WILL be better.

Positive thoughts for those that need them today (me included :()

Hello mentors - think you may need to give us something else to talk about (preferably not metaphysics though )

Congratulations Winky and welcome Saskia. Now I hope that she lives up to that sassy name, fantastic.

Hope that you get all the rest that you deserve. Sorry the waterbirth didnt work out but I am sure that she will be worth all 72 hours. Now dont let her forget that at every opportunity you have (see told you I would be a bad mother :)) Seriously I hope that you are ok and that you get all the rest you need, both of you. She must have been just as worn out waiting to get out here.
