Afternoon everyone
Busy morning so far, had to take the cat to the vets to be neutered. Poor soul was starving as she'd been nil by mouth since 11pm last night and wasn't keen on the car. Still it does mean the cabin fever will soon be over and the poor wee thing can go outside rather than running up my nets and putting holes in them
TADA list is a bit short BUT I have done it all BEFORE I put the 'puter on when I normally do that first and end up rushing round in a frenzy just before school run
Put vac round downstairs
hung up washing
vac'ed stairs
dusted stairs and landing
dusted our bedroom
general quick tidy round
Feel shattered though as DD decided to wake at 4.45am, put her in bed with us but didn't go off to sleep until nearly 6am  Eyes feel really sore today.....ho hum.
Cold and windy here although I thing that's preferable to what's going to be hitting Queensland

Those are brill Ellidee, i love anagrams..wanna play scrabble on fb?Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Great quotes and anagrams ladies. Some good reading there. I am rubbish at scrabble, yet I love words. I think that I have too short an attention span. As today confirmed when I preferred watching the red kites out of my office window instead of reading a research paper and prepping for next weeks presentations. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0

I have only played scrabble on fb once and that was with Bob - it was a while ago and I think she ran rings around me ! Thanks for the offer Bob - maybe some other time ?
P.S. The mother-in-law anagram was rather apt eh Bob ! xxNothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0 -
Hello peeps
I haven't forgotten about filling you guys in on the weekend - promise. But a few days with a poorly toddler has knocked the stuffing out of me, so I will type it all up when I can see straight:D
DS2 is still running a fever - every 4 hours for Calpol still. At least he is drinking loads and eating a little so I won't worry too much.
DS1 has just taken himself off to his chanter practice all on his own (one of the aims of this year was to get him more independant) ..... I think the temptation of a new piece of music is really the motivation.
Yayyyy to the Easiyo on Frecycle - absolutely the best price for one:D
Thanks for all the quotes Fantasia - I have copied off one or two to paint on some spare canvases I have.
Back in the morning - after a better nights sleep all round I hope
