    Hello Raingold :)

Huge hugs to Clairewop and Scottishlass, such sad news :(

MG - loving the idea of renting the house out and homeschooling from sunnier climes! I'd be very tempted to do the same thing if I wasn't so chicken!!

Things are going well here; after discussing with my teacher tonight, we've agreed that it would be better for me to do the foundation GCSE paper rather than the higher. My heart still says it would be better to do the higher, but realistically I have a lot on my plate and it would be better to (hopefully) guarantee the C grade I need for possible career progression than be overly stressed for the higher.....

Sorry didn't mean to make you sad...like you say it is very cruel and I just don't understand it...

Glad you've got your crafting bug back - I suddenly decided to clean my filter on my washing machine - which as I found a card dating back to 2006 in it I don't think has been done for a long time and I'm hoping that it will solve the damp smell I can smell when I come home - the only draw back to this flat.

Oh no Scottishlass, no need to apologise. Sorry I wasn't suggesting you shouldn't share such tragic news but having got young kids myself I do tend to put myself in their situation and it's one that makes me sad.

Raingold - Us? Talk? where did you get that idea from ?! :rotfl:

:( Sad news from Claire and Scottishlass this evening.

I hadn't heard of any babies dying in ages and it isn't anything we expect to hear. Sadly I have heard of three recently :(

    Hi Ladies and Mike,
Just read all the threads – you are all amazing and can't half talk!! It's been a fantastic read - I've laughed and cried, been outraged and humbled, very excited when I read MG would be coming my way, then disappointed when I learned that there had been a change of plan (totally understandable), appalled by the school situation and cheering you on and sending positive thoughts even when I was weeks behind! The Kits for Kids is an amazing achievement, I take my hat off to you all.
I love this thread, I’ve learnt so much and it's changed life already........my house was CHAOS (Can't Have Anyone Over Syndrome as someone said ages ago) but in the last couple of weeks, I've invited colleagues over for lunch, invited friends to call in whenever they're passing and not minded when they did. My DD (13) and I are sorting out clothes, books etc in 15 min bursts and both of us have found lots of stuff we'd forgotten we had. 15 mins of concentrated effort is making an amazing difference - I can see DD's floor now. I'm reading The Secret - Thank you Scottishlass – and it’s changing my thinking.
Claire, have you seen the Jewellery maker channel 756 on Virgin, also on FB and www.jewellerymaker.com www.docrafts is also worth a look.
MG how do I get your books? I went to your webpage, but didn't know if it was still valid. My DS(9) struggles with writing, (I’ve been told it’s because he didn’t crawl and didn’t play with Lego – he’d rather be kicking a ball!), I want to get him Mind Mapping before he gets to SeniorSchool.

Wow, Raingold, you've achieved such a lot. Fantastic. :T:T:T:T

Hi Raingold, yes I have looked on the jewellery maker :) fab beads .

    well good morning :)

I was in bed by 9.30 last night absolutely shattered I was, slept really well though but still feeling tired this morning, and a terrible bad belly :( was contemplating going back to bed with a hot water bottle, but decided I would sleep better tonight staying up, so I put the heating on and am sat here in my pj's and my lovely snuggly dressing gown.

I never got around to the dining room yesterday, so thats my job today, and it's going to be a looonnnggg one :( moomoo (the kitten) has knocked a bag of 4mm crystals on the floor :( so I've got to get on my hands and knees to pick them up, If I'm not back by lunch time, someone come and help me as It will mean I'm stuck in that position on the floor lol.

Need to wait in for my approved food order then I'm going to pop up and see my mate seen as I just dumped a bag on her and run yesterday :(

Bitsy, go you!! 4 valentines cards woohooo, your mojo is back :J Hope you didn't forget about the tea lol.

Pickle well done on the massage course :)

Morning one and all! Sorry I was not around yesterday. Had a confluence of deep hangover (bleurgh) and too much work which conspired to make yesterday a very difficult day to get through. Have managed it though, and stayed up to date with what was happening here.

So sorry to hear of the tragic deaths of people close to the Matrix. I will pray for you all, and for the families effected. I don't know if you will feel comforted by that, but I hope you do! :(

MG, your weekend sounds marvellous. Can't wait to hear what the result is. Great job on the crafting Bitsy, Welcome to the madhouse Raingold, and congratulations pickle! Positive thoughts and hugs to everyone I haven't yet mentioned! :D

For me, I am still feeling quite rough today. It can't be the alcohol, so perhaps I was feeling rubbish yesterday and not hungover at all! Still swearing off the stuff for a goodly long time. Nothing wrong exactly, just feel incredibly weary and with no energy whatever. Sleep seems to do no help, even sitting and reading or crafting doesn't seem to improve how I am feeling. So, because I can't put my finger on why I am feeling so grotty, I have to haul my backside into work. You can't really put "is so tired she can hardly move" on a sickness form!! :D I have a feeling it is going to be a loooong day!
