seems to be lots of dates going about for the challenges? i think ill just do mine till easter Monday and then go from there.
Mine would be:
Get new work stuff sorted out and up and running - this will be done in lots of parts and be my "elephant"
Ongoing with decluttering - mainly my card stuff i think - get a supply made and hopefully be able to downszie my storage for this
Losing weight - this will be doing more exercise - zumba twice a week, curling, maybe yoga, and swimming when better weather comes in.
Need to get more meals sorted for me, to give me more choice for eating.
Keeping on top of housework instead of doing it in one big go every so often - hvae been doing this recently and it feels good.
Think five will be enough for me, will update as i go along.:j Debt-Free-Wannabe! :jDeclutter/Ebay/Savings0 -
.
Please join me in a small celebration as today is the day when my credit history finally clears:j:j:j:j.
Fantastic news Helen. I'd join you in the starjumps :j:j but the way my back feels at the moment, I don't think I'd ever walk again!!! So I'll just give you a big :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:TAs for my poor ikkle doggy, he has a huge lump on the side of his bottom and he has put a hole in it somehowit looks very yuk  got a vets app tomorrow evening
its looking very gross at the moment urrghhh, the thing is he is 13 and the last time he needed an op he struggled to come around and the vet said he wouldn't survive another
(i would take a pic and show you what is wrong but it looks horrible so I'll not lol)
Claire - sorry to hear your 4 legged friend is poorly. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.
It's been a good day today -daughter and babe were discharged from hospital. Her bp is still high but is stable on medication and should fall now. The midwife will take her bp every day and refer her to the GP if necessary. I didn't realise how stressed I was about her but the feeling of relief I have this evening is immense.
daughter-in-law phoned to say she was going to see daughter and would I like her to pick me up on the way there and go with her. No brainer - had to say yes and we took cream buns (sorry diet!) and had a lovely afternoon.
The rain stopped and I was able to clear out the dining room window box and plant some primulae. Was planning to take a photo but that didn't get done.
The sun came out and on the drive back from daughter's there was a fabulous sunset that silhouetted (spelling looks wrong) the winter-bare trees, threw a red light on the countryside and on the few clouds in the sky. It felt that I was looking on this natural beauty with new eyes - daft I know!
I'd like to join in the 100 day challenge and would prefer it on this site. I'll do some thinking over the next day or so and be back to commit.
Sleep well matrix

Great to hear everyone so positive.
Bitsy I have used Abakhan to buy wool online and the fabrics look reasonable.
Fantasia, good luck, even if you don't want to join in the Stop Smoking thread, I would go over there and read a few pages when the going gets tough, as it is fantastically motivating.
Claire, hope it all goes well at the vets.
Would like to post more but all this positivity is telling me I have to get out of bed and get moving!0 -

Morning Matrix.
I have another day of doing battle with the spreadsheet and budgeting software from hell, so shan't be around much today. I love this thread - the positivity is glowing from it, and it is totally infectious.
MG, sounds like you had a productive day with your little family. Congratulations.
Claire, all the best for the trip to the vets. *fingers crossed*

Mornin' all
Requesting some positive vibes for dd who has a science exam this morning (GCSE).
Just about to have a slice of toast and then take ds to get his hair cut. We are going to a new hair dresser so keep your fingers crossed for me that ds manages to deal with the different venue and different person without too much stress for all involved.
Trogldyte - my dh is a tooth grinder so no need to feelyou are not alone.
Claire hope all goes well at your visit to the vet, will be thinking of you.
Take care all, Thriftyxxx0 -
Claire: Good Luck at the vets. Been there done that one and its a horrible feeling. Hope doggy can get better and come home for a bit longer.
Mixed results with the pastry - Quiche was good a bit crisper on the top edge, jam tarts like biscuits. So not sure wether I have ccracked the pastry challenge and oven was too hot or if I can't make pastry! Have to try again next week.
