    Happy Monday everyone.
Just wanted to say I haven't sent any nasty PMs either just in case anyone thought it was me.
I value MemoryGirl and everyone on this thread.
    Best wishes

Yellow Glow and others like her, please don't feel that you are under suspicion. The trolls that posted are likely to be ones who are here just to cause trouble and have no vested interest in seeing this thread or MG thrive. You have nothing to worry about and I for one do not look at every poster with a view that are they "the one".

I suspect that the people who sent the pm's are lurkers rather than people who post on here.

Hope Memorygirl is ok, I miss her updates.

  • This is the problem with not naming and shaming everyone feels under suspicion it would be a shame if genuine lukers feel that they can't read and occasionally post in case people think its them which we know it isn't. It may mean that they never contribute anything to this thread - so any lurkers reading this we don't suspect you. Anyone who does this is not likely to be a genuine reader of this thread we love our lurkers and if you feel like posting don't be shy :)

Agree with DT, we have no right or need to cast any aspersions with regard to phantom posters. I was a longtime lurker on this thread till i got the courage up to post back in October.
A lot of people just read because of the [positivity that they pick up and it draws you in (did me anyway).:)
I'd encourage anyone who feels like posting to join in, if you want to stay in the anonymity of lurkdom thats fine too, But you are welcome which ever option you choose.
The positivity in here is highly addictive though and for a lot of people, being a part of the Matrix has been lifechanging.

    Hello peeps

???? Ever had one of those days when you feel you are never gong to get home again - EVER???

Haven't gone back to catch up from Saturday morning - just the last few posts, but

    1. Don't believe the nasties are peeps from here. The punctuation and spelling were really bad (and consistently so even though it was different names) - but when you are down, you let the trolls get to you.

    2. Fab idea Laura - lets have a challnge again- maybe we all need something to move towards to help us move away from the last couple of months.

You know the new tea advert with Johnny Vegas and the Monkey? - that was us about an hour ago, freezing cold and chessed off. Spent the day with the LEA people jumping through hoops with DS1. Got home with sleepy, grumpy toddler and weary DS1 - cup of tea soon sorted us out.

In the end the "cooncil" decided that they needn't have called us in today (cos he was never registered as a Local Authority Pupil)- well we were there from 9am this morning - and it was passed 4 when we left. Thank goodness Gran was on hand to feed us on the way home cos "we was Hank Marvin"

So tomorrow we start the Homeschooling of my Big Boy - so back to Storecupboard challenges, No-Spend-Days and all things OldStyle :D

Off to pop DS's into bed now that their rooms are warmer - then I will go catch up with another POT of tea I think.

Quite a positive day for me today.

:) Did the downstairs vacuuming this morning
:) invited a neighbour in for coffee as I hadn't chatted with her for a while.
:) went to visit daughter and no3 gs in the hospital this afternoon. Daughter has postpartum hypertension and cannot go home until it is adequately controlled. She has been quite distraught but seems calm and resigned today so I am much less worried about her.
:) the sun came out this afternoon. After all the rain we have had it was an instant pick-me-up!

So all-in-all I feel far more content this evening. :T:T:T
