DT, there's also a massive out of town one at Handforth Dean, just up the A34. It's bigger than Stockport, and East Didsbury is only quite small. Havent been to the others, so cant help with those.

Handforth Dean would suit me nicely as it is on my cross country route that I will be doing on Wednesday :T

I was also very proud of her as she chopped up all the veggies for the salad with a sharp knife for the first time (with me supervising every movement of the knife), it was lovely to have her really helping me out. There's hope for her and the ironing yet (tee hee, she's only 5 so maybe I'm being a tad ambitious ;) )

    A monetssori baby :j:j

DS2 does ironing already - cool iron and tea-towels only, but he's only 2.5.

In kindi they are taught to iron, carry jugs of warm water, make toast, use sharp knives, screwdrivers, axes and build fires - and so far we've never had an accident.

The bigger kids can even make themselves a cup of tea whenever they fancy - so darn civilised :rotfl::rotfl:

Wow!!! Just as I am out of hospital, recovered enough to be back on line, and have caught up with all the posts, we have a gleaming new thread, and a new member soon to be welcomed to the thread.:j:j:j

Sounds like lots of people are achieving lots of things. MG is going from strength to strength and K4K sounds as though it is going to be super successful. :T :T :T Hope Claire's injections are making a difference.

Other people seem to have had rough times.
fau3uw_th.jpg for Boddy. It's nearly 16 years since my Mum died and it's still hard. Guess it always will be. Take it one day at a time and don't let anyone make you feel that there's a time limit to grief. It does its own thing in its way in tis own time. Try to go with the flow and be very gentle and understanding with yourself.

    Also
fau3uw_th.jpg for everyone who is poorly just now. There seem to be lots of nasties going around at the moment.

Only regret for me is I haven't been able to get onto the new other site. I'm sure there is lots of inspiration there but it won't let me join in and play!!!!

    Take care everyone
  • Happy New thread !!
