Ladies,(and of course Mike and any gents who may lurk). I just received the following from a friend and just felt the need to share. I dont normally bother with these forwarded emails but this one caught my eye when it mentioned Maya Angelou

In April, Maya Angelou was interviewed by Oprah on her 70+ birthday. Oprah asked her what she thought of growing older.
And, there on television, she said it was 'exciting...'
Regarding body changes, she said there were many, occurring every day.....like her breasts. They seem to be in a race to see which will reach her waist, first.
The audience laughed so hard they cried. She is such a simple and honest woman, with so much wisdom in her words!

Actually I've been planning on just following the easier woman on Level 1 for the entire 30 days. If by some miracle this becomes too easy and I get bored only then will I consider changing.
How long was it before you switched to the harder woman or moved up to Level 2?0 -
On a different subject (sort of ) I've been thinking about my plans/challenges for the next few months. I don't want to plan for the entire year but the time span up to Easter seems reasonable. Anyone wish to join me in a new 100 day challenge?
So far mine are:
1. Weight- lose 2 stone
2. Fitness - Exercise 5 times a week, either the dreaded Shred or something more pleasant, swimming, walking etc.
3. Money - I need a 6 seater car so I aim to save £1500 towards it.
4. House - nothing major just ongoing declutter, DIY, improve.
5. Garden - I want to grow my own veg this year.
6. Writing - Schedule time for this every week, I enjoy it but either put it off for something more active (cleaning, DIY etc) or put it off for something less active (reading, watching tv) so I am going to make time for it as if it was going to the gym or a class.0 -

I just followed the harder woman on some things as and when I felt I could. Some things I didn't follow her on at all :rotfl: I moved to level 2 after doing level 1 ten times (not all consecutive days), and moved to level 3 quicker than that I think because it was actually nice to alternate. I'm now trying to do each of the levels once a week. I reckon just do whatever takes your fancy! :T0 -

1. Get into a study routine (will have to achieve that as my first TMA due in on 6th April)
2. Start working in garden (weather permitting)
3. Make regular time for sewing.
4. Make a dent in debts.0 -
Hi People of the Matrix,
MG asked me to give you an update of the situation there. Her mum is being discharged from hospital with a script for steroids. It is still not clear what is wrong with her but she has started eating and drinking so doctors decided it is safe to send her home. My feeling is that MG is still very concerned and rather busy ensuring that her mum and her boys are looked after properly.
On a different matter, can I remind people that there is a tread started about the next 100 days challenge on the Matrix Forum. Might consider psoting your challenges there as well so that the everyone is connected.

Thanks for the positive update from MG, Firewalker. Getting home is always a great milestone towards recovery, and so much better for morale and family life too.
