morning all, looks very much like we may get some of the white stuff this morning. got a call from my neighbour last night, her hubby was not well would l go round,:( l got her to fone nhs direct who told her there was a 4hr wait,so foned her surgery they said someone would contact her. we then heard him cry out and ran upstairs to find him unconscious, l dialed 999, i have nothing but praise for the emergency services the operater stayed on the line until the lst paramedic arrived, followed by a 3 man ambulance crew, they may be busy but they can still respond to an emergency in double quick time. the good news is he is now conscious, understanding wots going on. had a scan and has a small bleed behind his eye, because of their fast response hopefully he will be ok. :)
Live for today, for tomorrow is promised to no-one.

never complain about growing old,far too many people have been denied that privilege.

good to hear your neighbour is going to be ok Gill. I must say I have had to use the ambulance service twice and they were absolutely fantastic to me and the care and service was fabulous.

Don't be so modest:p, so carpark sorted guys. Spare room well lets put it this way, we couponers are not fuss, we all don't mind bringing our sleeping bags with us - just give us your living room & we will make do with our sleeping arrangement.

Ya and I can even cook you dinner :p

:T:rotfl:Perhaps I could just leave a key on a hook outside and you can all come whenever you like:rotfl::rotfl:
  • Morning all - looks like I might not be able to get out again due to the white stuff. Mocs need using but don't want to take unnecessary risks. Will leave it a bit longer & then check on neighbours...............

Went in to poundland shop - "2011 calendar" 3-4-2. Times are hard, none of the suppliers seem to send any calendar out to their customers anymore! This is the 1st time I have to buy a calendar for my company!
