I hope you keep your receipt, write to my friend "Terry" & complain to them. Tell them that if they need proof you can send the receipt & waitty coupon for them too. Tell them you want your refund. You don't try you loose £10, you try you might gain £10 + £10 money card. Good Luck. Tell them you would like them to write to you in hard copy (letter) so you can carry it around with you if it happens again.

Safe you from looking for his email addy : terry.leahy@uk.tesco.com don't call them you will only waste your time - verbal conversation - they never keep their promises!!!

I returned home from holiday on Saturday through Stansted airport and was thrilled that I was able to pick up 4 copies of the Mail, free of charge. The next day I took myself off to Tesco with the coupon but was refused at the checkout. Supervisor was called and she just said if it doesn't scan they won't take it. I tried to show her my email that I had received from head office a while ago but she wouldn't even look at it and just kept saying if it doesn't scan we can't take it!

I was so cross that when I got home I emailed Tesco again, I got an automated reply saying they were very busy and would answer as soon as they could. I am still waiting for a reply! I need to shop again tomorrow and will try again then but I don't hold out much hope.
  • Just had an e-mail from Airwick offering a half price ribbons candle in exchange for asking a couple of questions. Prints once, centre of page, dated 31/12/10. Value £3

These candles are on offer in Sainsburys @ £3

Also the same price in Asda. HTH
isn't there also a £1 off coupon for ribbon candles in the asda xmas mag.
even better if we can use both together

My nearest Asda won't take printables, unfortunately, but more than happy with another free candle in Sainsburys tonight.

Finally found the 16 roll Triple Velvet packs in my local Morrisons and got 2 using the 50p moc from the website and got some mega bargains in the fresh fish reductions.

Also used a few mocs and LV's in Tesco, so not done too badly tonight.:D

  • For anyone who couldn't get the Cokezone moc to print. I contacted them through the feedback link and they have mailed me back to say they are posting a moc out, so will [hopefully] get a free bottle in the end.

  • Hello, any nightowls about?
Thick with snow in my garden, can't wait to do some snowman building tomorrow :D Sadly may mean I won't be able to get to the shops for god knows how long, but it's alright because I offloaded a load of mocs in Asda the other day.

Have to share my success story, used my other Huggies £5 voucher and the SA scanned it twice by accident (i think she was new) anyway it took a tenner off my shopping and the Huggies box only cost me £3! :j My pregnant bessie is going to be loaded up with these things lol.

Had a bit of a difficult time trying to use the airwick voucher, SA got a supervisor to come over and she was the biggest trout I've ever seen. She just didn't want me to have the free candle! Tried telling me that they definitely don't have those particular ones in stock (wrong). I got it in the end so alls well that ends well! Also very much have enjoyed getting some cheaper whiskas cat food the past few shops.
Not had any of the eukanuba dog food through the post yet..I may have ordered a few... ;) not that I have dogs, but I have friends with dogs :)
Thorougly wishing the post would get back to normal, but with more snow coming I'm doubting this is going to be likely!
Anyway hope everybody doesn't get snowed in tonight!

Same happened to me. I used one last Sunday. It wouldn't scan as the print was blurred but duty manager told the SA to put it thru' as a non-scan.

Went in yesterday and told if they won't scan they won't take them. Checkout Supervisor asked cash office who said 'no' then she asked duty manager who said they couldn't take them but on this occasion as he had already told me I could use it it was ok. By this time I'd paid but the checkout supervisor refused to take it as she said it would show her till as having a £10 shortfall and she would then be in trouble with her manager.

I've sent an email to head office so will wait and see what happens.

    Part of the Furniture
When I asked about using the Waitys moc yesterday,at a brand new Extra that has only been open about 4 weeks, I was told all Tesco tills have a drop down menu on the non scan coupon button...all supermarkets listed apart from Lidl....so why some stores like to play silly beggars is beyond me...
