    Well done Coupon-Mad's son .
We had good news yesterday as well my daughter got into Oxford University too.
What is your son going to study and which College?
Oxford will have 2 novice moneysavers now.

Congratulations to your daughter too. :T

I received the printable free coke moc in the post today - looks like they printed it out there for me and posted it out. :)

The snow has started to melt here, so I'll be off out shortly to get the last of my Xmas shopping, then do the food shop this evening - hopefully using a moc or 2 along the way. ;)

A quick good morning to you all.

Sorry to hear about your dog Jeferey, best it doesnt suffer though.

Congrats Bully on your win, glad someone is winning, this December has got to be the worst month for me at comping since I started over 2 years ago. Still there are a few more days of month left so Im optimistic.

Off to work now, and then off to the Dentist (am feelin very grumpy with toothache) so hope I can get it sorted for Xmas. Still snowy and thick with fog here at the moment.

No news as far as couponning is concerned, but promise I will get searching in the New Year.
my last 2 dentists have gone to private so I don't have one now :eek:as NHS are thin on the ground in my area

just had some sad news, my friend and neighbour who was taken into hosp at the weekend has deteriorated and they are switching off his life support machine, pink and I will really miss him, he has been a great friend to us.
what sad news, I feel so sorry for his wife - but at least you have the comfort of knowing that you did everything that you could to help and I'm sure his wife will appreciate everything you have done, good neighbours are like gold dust
Pleased to know he is hanging on in there and hopefully there will be more positive news soon

So sorry to read your news, jeffery and gill. It seems particularly sad to lose a loved one near Christmas - we heard about an 18 year old who died last week, he went to the same college as my DS1. :(:A

Just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, hope it's peaceful, joyful, noisy or quiet, whatever you and yours want it to be! And a brilliant New Year to one and all.

And a big thankyou to two people (you know who you are:A) who kindly sent me some coupons recently that I can use in Sainsburys and/or Tesco, depending on where I want to shop. I have used plenty of them already, more or less buying the right things (Sainsburys tills are pretty clever at rejecting some mocs!).

And I hope you will forgive a proud Mum moment? :D My DS1 just got an offer in the post today from Oxford University! We are so proud of him, neither my OH nor myself went to Uni (I was a child bride...!) we are a pretty ordinary family and my kids go to a state school. And if he doesn't get the grades he has also been accepted by his other four Uni choices as well so he's lucky enough to be able to choose his favourite other one as a back up. :)

:T Here's to 2011 everyone, hope you all get what makes you happy - so to speak!
you must be , rightfully, very proud:) you as well twig1
:santa2:Happy Christmans to all of my forum friends and very best wishes for 2011

  • Anybody know what sainsbury's policy is on internet printed coupons? My local store has been refusing them saying I have to buy the product first. I would like to challenge this if you think I should.

    Thanks.

Sainsburys never had the policy of accepting the coupons without buying the product....;)
