Well i manged to find a number for Hermes so i thought i would give them a call.
Basically i gave him my tracking number and he said he didn't know what Missing pre-advice meant but that pre-advice just basically meant there was an order to be collected (or something like that)
However as nice as the gentleman was he went on to say that i should contact Asos (which i wont be doing) and ask them what it meant but more importantly
Asos also has it written in their contract that Hermes are not to be contacted by any of their customers. :eek: Oh!!0 -

Well ive just finally been able to track the one order theyve sent via hermes and mine says 'missing pre order' too :undecided
Ive emailed asos via there private messaging on facebook because they always reply to me within 15 minutes and are usually very helpful so hopefully they will be able to tell me what it means and if i will be getting that order or not - Ive ordered absolutely loads from them in the past month and i mean loads and out of about 18 parcels (all paid full price for) ive had two that never arrived which was sorted with them,however ill be really peeved if they dont send this one and claim it was 'returned' after all the money ive spent there in the past 4 weeks!Having a coke with youis even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona0 -
Thought i'd just let you know I have 3 orders for which the dispatch email said the order was on its way (didn't stipulate who with so presumably Hermes). My other 2 order dispatch emails says they are with Royal Mail.
When i look at my account the ones with Hermes can be tracked.
I click onto one of them and get this message:

However, I have had a Hermes "sorry we missed you" card stating they would attempt to redeliver tomorrow. No Hermes delivery driver phone number had been included on the card so I called 0871 246 1583 (number i found on the Tinternet). The guy at Hermes said it was for 3 ASOS parcels. I was expecting 3 to be delivered by Hermes and 2 by RM.
I did ask them for a contact number for my local delivery person but they wouldnt give it to me so I asked them to contact the delivery person and ask them to contact me as I work and will not be in during normal working hours to take the parcel.
So i can only presume that even though I get the tracking message saying pre advice missing on one of my tracking items that Hermes have actually got it ?
Guess I will find out tomorrow !

contacted customer services with regards to returned orders (that I did not receive or return) and received the following response:
"Thanks for getting in touch with us.
Unfortunately, our returns team have issued you with a refund for your returned order in error.
As we've already refunded your money and your card issuer has accepted it, we are unable to now issue you with a replacement.
If you still want the items and they're still available, please order them through the website as normal, as I can't take your order directly via email for security reasons. An easy way to do this is to log in to your account, view the original order, and then add the items you want back into your shopping bag.
