    Also .uk.com is a really weird web address. Standard ones for (UK) businesses are .co.uk or .com.

    If anything has an address like .uk.com then it won't be a 'proper' company.

    There are a few. GAME used to have https://www.game.uk.com until they managed to get hold of the .co.uk.

    arrgh! sorry, ignore me!! I was looking in completely the wrong place! I'm just an idiot! thanks everyone for confirming my suspicious, i'm glad i chose not to buy from there but the bf's mother will have to be told :o
