Has anyone else bought charms from thomassabo.uk.com? I just received completely fake goods from them. Obviously via China looking at the postage. Thought I had checked them out thoroughly -looked like a uk site address & their website is very convincing -no spelling mistakes as often seen on dodgy sites. However, noticed on their email that they have uk.com so they are not uk company.

Did the ridiculously low prices not ring alarm bells? The domain name does not indicate where a company is based.Gone ... or have I?0

Q1: Are your Thomas Sabo merchandise authentic?
A1: Our merchandise are not manufactured by the authentic brand companies, but are made with manufacturing facilities that the origin brand companies utilize, such as the durable materials, professional craftsmanship and custom color way. Our replicas do not mean poor quality. They are made following the standard of original ones, almost tells no difference to the original ones. We have an excellent reputation on the Internet for selling Brand jewellery. You are all satisfied with the quality products from us. If you are not sure of our offers, you can place a sample order to check first.
Also their tracking states
For deliveries to other countries: Go to http://www.ems.com.cn/qcgzOutQueryAction.do?reqCode=gotoSearchE and use the tracking number and delivery postcode provided in the confirmation email we send to you. Please allow 48 hours from receipt of the email before tracking your order.
EMS is the primary carrier for chinese sites
Finally there is broken english in large parts of the site as well as the WHOIS

There are many signs there0 -

Even if it was .co.uk doesn't mean its a UK company. Anyone from anywhere in the world can register one, Unlike some countries there is no requirement that you must live in the UK to have a .co.uk domain.0 -
Distance selling regulations still apply. You should be able to get a refund, and if the good are not suitable and the site misleading you can contact your credit card company to get a refund. I did this when I bought something from China that was not what I expected.0

But some (not all) of the genuine Thomas Sabo charms and bracelets aren't that expensive, infact the bracelets on the genuine site are half the price of the fakes! Go figure.

Hi,
I've never bought any of this before my just had an email from the bf's mother saying that she had bought his sister some charms from http://www.thomassabos.uk.com/ (extra 's' compared to the link in the OP). I'm always suspicious about anywhere that sells jelwery unless it's the original site and looking at this thread it seems like the one she has linked to is registered in China. Is there anyway to actually tell whether what they are selling is fake?2008: £783.12 - 2009: £6,401.15 - 2010: £4,230.61 - 2011: £8720 - 2012: £2,041.89
2013: £134.960 -
Also .uk.com is a really weird web address. Standard ones for (UK) businesses are .co.uk or .com.
If anything has an address like .uk.com then it won't be a 'proper' company.Cash not ash from January 2nd 2011: £2565.:j
OU student: A103 , A215 , A316 all done. Currently A230 all leading to an English Literature degree.
Any advice given is as an individual, not as a representative of my firm.0 -
