Have you tried to contact your partner to find out what is going on. If you have got through to lost and stolen phones, you would not receive a text warning, the phone would be suspended immediately.

If the account is in your partners name, your partner would have to make the enquiry to Vodafone. Vodafone would not discuss your partners account with you.

Try contacting your partner from a landline or alternative phone.

Hows this for an idea, phone your partner from your landline and ask him what the hell is going on ;)

Come on, use a bit of commonsense.

I dont see why you would be put through to lost and stolen unless you needed to type your number in and its been reported as lost / stolen.

Maybe your partner has run off with another woman, and has cancelled your account :o
  • both mobiles had incoming and outgoing calls barred so i was not able to contact my partner!!! shee managed to get home fine thank god and managed to get hold of vodaphone at 8am in the end and found out the reason it had been suspended is due to them canceling the direct debit when i made a complaint last week and got half my bill credited but its all sorted now but thank you for your non helpful advice

“Thank God” her phone didn’t work that’s all. Was your heart thumbing until she walked through the front door? Did you tell her how brave she was? You must be of an age where you have not known a life before mobile phones became available.

Obviously you don't love your partner enough to want to make sure they are okay and not get attacked on their way home there has been 2 stabbings 3 sexual attacks and 1 attempted murder in my town in the past 2 weeks so i am sorry If i got owrried about my partner. What would you do if you had no contact their mobile phone not working and where they were there wasn't a contact number to get them on? would you just say oh well they will be home eventually no need to worry well excuse me i'm sorry but i love my partner and worry for her safety.

That was quick, you only posted on the eForum in Saturday, 20th and Wayne Vodafone sent you an email yesterday morning, although he did advise you that it would be quicker to call Customer Services.

The direct debit would have been cancelled by the bank if it had not been paid more than once, it would not have been Vodafone that would have cancelled the direct debit, although you did say the payment was not due to be taken until the end of the month.

Vodafone even gave you a credit when the account is in your partners name.

My partner struggles to understand things so vodaphone has got authorisation for me to speak on her behalf thank for raising the security issue there thru i would be worried to if i didn't know there was already authorisation.

vodaphone are quick thats one thing i will give them credit for if they know they have made a mistake like that have on this occasion they are quick to sort the problem out just to make you all aware this has happened before but which is why i received a credit and i am being given a goodwill payment again for the mistake they have made a second time in a space of a month.:T
