 They are lovely.
I'd get the photos off it anyway and make a couple of copies and then get him involved in being part of the process of designing the book....perhaps leave it a little while yet though?
I have a Mac! Where do I go to do this? Is there an online link or a program on the computer? Sorry I'm not great with computers. I have iPhoto is it linked to that?MANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j

 Thank you so much.
He is a lovely little boy and my friend is really going through the mill with it at the minute. She's been a great friend to me and I really want to support her and help in any way I can.MANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j

I think the photobook is a lovely idea, but could you also do a couple of framed prints for his bedroom? I am sure he would love to go to sleep and wake up with his Mum there to see.
As for how to bring it up, if he likes playing on the computer she could ask if he would like to help her make the photobook? It may help bring them together if they have a project to work on and it will give him the chance to open up and talk if she asks questions about the photo's as they were working. He probably needs reassurance that it is Ok to talk about her and to feel sad. Also, do you have something like Winston's Wish near you, they a great at helping children through a bereavement.
Poor little man, such a difficult time for him but your friend seems to be doing a great job of trying to make him welcome.:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0

I think it's really effecting me as I have an 8 year old myself in the same year group as her little boy. It really breaks my heart.MANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j

I think it helps that they have known it was on the cards for a while and so have had chance to get their heads around it, and the addition to their family. Obv he has always been part of the family but only stayed normally on Saturday nights and apart from that they have lived like a childless couple (no children of their own, my friend is a fair bit younger than her OH and wasn't ready to be her mum. Not that she begrudged the situation at all.) He had been staying more and more though so it was a gradual transition for them all and in the end he was living with them but visiting his mum daily.
Of course she is finding it difficult though and I hope I can support her.MANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j

Thank you so much for this post. That is a great idea that I hadn't thought of and I also hadn't heard of wins tons wish. They really haven't had much help or advice from anyone and have kind of been left to get on with things themselves.MANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j
