  • Also, pray point me in the direction of a venue where I can sell cheaper?

Well I am not going to pray, but you can take a look at this list

It's not as if the seller is not being upfront about exactly how much you need to pay.

He wasn't upfront as his auctions state £1 P&P for any additional items bought

I thought you said he clarified this when you asked him.

He has also now changed postage rates on all but 2 of his listings. I still haven't responded to his last email but was thinking along the lines of:-

"I'm not sure ebay will agree it was an error in the listing, as I have copies of your other listings offering discounted P&P rates for additional items bought. My actual bill states £1.00 P&P for second item. Also you have sent me an email stating that you charge excessive postage to avoid ebay fees, which I don't think they will look upon favourably. I would be grateful if you could send me both the items I paid for at the price you set"

Or is this pushing my luck?

The only people he is ripping off is ebay.

He was totally honest with you in his email.

You are thinking of blackmailing him and you think you can claim some kind of moral highground?

I think Becky is right, she was mislead. If he sends the 2 books I would leave it at that, if not report him.

It isn't worth displaying results by cost, cause so many have excess postage you still need to look at each item. Drives me mad!

    Your bad again,

I think its just you, a large proportion of the online community will have heard of Amazon. and quite a few will of heard of Ebid and CQout with over 1/4 million auctions.

I use Amazon, but their fees are too high for most of the things I sell. Your bad.

Edit: to clarify, the original criteria was 'cheaper than ebay'

The auction listing stated £1.00 P&P for additional items so I sent aquestion via ebay to confirm price and he was charging 7.49 P&P for additional item. So his auction listing was misleading I feel.

    NOT ME!!!
He has just emailed to say he is sending them.
Hopefully in future he will not put that additional items are £1 P&P.
