I booked a flight with Bravofly via Skyscanner and it cost me approx 47.72% more than booking direct with Jetstar.
Jetstar website price final 184.95sgd = 88.8268 gbp
Bravofly via Skyscanner price final 154 minus9(insurance refund) = 145 euro = 131.21 gbp THUS £42.39 more 47.72%
Bravofly tried to tell me i was wrong on the phone!
I also by mistake bought the insurance which at first they would not let me cancel but they have now. I believe i have the right to a cooling off period in the EU!
Their telephone number also costs £1.50 a minute.
REMMEMBER TO SHOP AROUND!! SKYSCANNER MAY NOT BE THE CHEAPEST

This type of thing comes up regularly, though why people book flights with an agency, without checking prices with the actual airline, is a mystery.
By doing so you could automatically be charged for your luggage even if you are only taking hand baggage, also if the airline allows checkin on line, you may not be able to do so because the agency will have used their own e-mail address and password for the booking.
Looking on Bravofly site, about the airlines, they still list FlyGlobespan !!!, also I think Bravofly was one of the companies that was selling Ryanair flights a while ago, and that was stopped by Ryanair.0 -
Skyscanner doesnt always show flights with the airline direct.I too nearly booked a Brisbane-Sydney flight with Bravofly, but checked Jetstars website first..
Glad I did, loads cheaper as I had remembered seeing cheap flights with Jetstar via skyscanner 2 weeks previous, but nowhere to be seen on there now.0 -
We're sorry to hear about your problem booking a Jetstar flight via Bravofly. Thanks for drawing our attention to this. We take pricing accuracy very seriously indeed at Skyscanner and investigate every issue raised with us by our users so we can resolve any problem with the quality of the data sourced from airlines or online travel agents. Prices direct from Jetstar were briefly removed from the site because of a temporary problem with accuracy but I'm pleased to say they are now back on the site.
That said, there will sometimes variations between prices sourced from airlines and those that come via online travel agents, as you've found. Sometimes travel agents are more expensive, but sometimes they can in fact be cheaper. Skyscanner will always show you accurate prices from whoever you choose to book with and we are working continually to make sure that you can compare flight prices from all available sources, including directly from the airline itself, and make your choice based on the best information available.
I hope you have a good trip and it's not spoiled by the problems you had with insurance, etc.0 -

The above appears to be coming from Skyscanner but does not say if it is or not. I can refer you to a thread I opened about similar stuff.

This is still happening and Bravofly is the only option given for return flights Faro to Glasgow on 15 Jan /26 Jan. The difference in fares is nearly double with Bravofly
If the above poster is from Skyscanner perhaps they can comment on thisSomething Really Interesting0 -
looks like skyscanner has a problem or weakness which Bravofly exploits but also i guess it gets paid somewhere along the line.0

As of today Skyscanner has removed Bravofly from the site due to a number of customer complaints. We are currently working with Bravofly to resolve all these issues.

Bravofly has asked us to post a statement. MSE doesn't endorse anything a company may say on the forum:
We are sorry to hear about the problems you experienced with your bookings. Being an online travel agency, it is normal for Bravofly to have to apply additional fees for the services it offers and for the work of searching and comparing the results of many airlines.
We would like to add that Bravofly tries to provide information in the most transparent way possible. We always display the name of the provider of the flight, and we always provide the costs of our services in a clear manner. We also show separately the costs of the services that the customer has selected that are provided by the airline company.
Recently, Bravofly changed its call center policy. The telephone number is now a national landline number, therefore calling our customer service is like making a call to London.
With regards to payment options, Bravofly cannot immediately apply commissions related to the payment transaction because they depend on the form of payment selected by the user. For this reason, the total cost of booking is shown only after the payment method has been selected. Bravofly does however offer an alternative payment option that has no additional fee.
One last point, Bravofly does succeed in providing cheaper flight prices. This is because Bravofly offers combined flights by different providers, that is to say that outbound and inbound flights are operated by different airline providers. This presents an important advantage for Bravofly customers.
We would like to thank you for your comments. We continuously strive to improve our overall service in our growing markets and your comments will help us to achieve a more satisfactory experience.
Best Regards

Simona, why was my email from you returned? None of what you say is true. Bravofly is a rip off in many ways, not just in price of flights and skyscanning. The fees added per minutes for phone calls to correct an error made by your website..only to be told the website is NEVER wrong..The flight I chose ws not the one given to me and every effort made to correct it was not done, yet I was charged and told it was my error, that I clicked through another website (NOT TRUE!!!) or that I did not check the information before payint (NOT TRUE!! As if I wouldn't check that for something I had checked and double checked!!). I am treated rudely by any personnel I happen to speak to, then your customer service tells me it is my fault and the only refund YOU will give is less than 1/4 of the price of the tickets, which actually is the amount of all the little 'phone fees'. Leaving me paying full price for tickets that cost less directly from Alitalia!!!
That is why my credit card has refunded the entire amount, as it is under 14 days, by law, the time allowed to cancel for a full refund. I am surprised no one has brought you guys to court in any country yet that I can find. Bravofly is a HUGE scam!!!0 -

please can you advise more about your booking, I seem to have a similar problem where the bookiung confirmation came through different to what I had booked..
They swear that I am at fault but i know i double checked info aswell.
Please please help me, I want a refund!0 -
The person you're asking hasn't been back for two years, I'd be surprised if they suddenly showed up again. Bravofly is a company with many complaints. Next time do some research *before* booking.0
