we have a lush 7ft fake tree, covered in loads of snow and cones. I love it. cost a fortune, but worth every penny. Hubby says i wouldn't cope with a real treefromt he mess.
but surely there is a real one which doesn't shed the needles, does anyone know ? . IF so i'm very tempted to get a real one for the dining room. but thinking maybe justa 4 or 5 ft little one.0 -
you can buy ones that are not as prone to losing them but keeping them watered is supposed to stop them dropping as much i love the smell of a real tree and we are still deciding whether or not to get one, plus i can recycle the needles into the garden after xmas:xmastree:Is loving life right now,yes I am a soppy fool who believes in the simple things in life :xmastree:0

thanks for that . i not sure weather to go to shide tree or the fairlee road one. i got a feeling tho, if i get a real one for dining room, i might have to wait a bit longer to get it. as if i put it up next week it might be half dead looking by crimbo.0

Artifical for us, had a real one a few years back and the water from the pot nearly wrecked my wooden floor.0

we bought some small confer trees (decorated like small christmas trees) about 10 years ago .. and after christmas hols, we planted them in the garden and now there about 4 foot high and look really health.
however they get a bit nervous around this time of year incase we chop them down, but Ive told them were not, so they've calmed down a bit.
