  • Read the review and i know ours isn't sluggish or does it drop out when moving away from the wifi signal. I took mine to my neighbours and signal was fine and still connected via my wifi? Looking at the review there are not many bad points for something that is less than 1/3 price of ipad and you can get a 32gb micro sd card on ebay or amazon for about £25-£30 so i still thinkk wayhey bargain lol

  • I have had an iPad (32g WiFi) since it came out and have found it excellent. Good long battery life, very responsive, does all I want it to do. Surfing the Net, watching iPlayer, reading books, using word processor etc etc. Can't fault it.

    £500 a bit steep and only 32gb!! (and £100 more for 3g)

I like the idea of Galaxy Tab as expandable. (but still £500)

I have a laptop and an Ipod - do I need an Ipad??
  • I'm impressed by tablets because of touch screen, cable free, many apps, sit on sofa and do some relax browsing and easy to move.

We are such pawns with these big companies - they dangle their wares and we can't wait to get out hands on em and come running or sleeping on the pavement!!!!

YOU BET I WANT ONE !!

I would secretly quite like one too so you're not alone :rotfl:

That said I'd probably go for the Samsung. I've had the original samsung Tocco phone for 2 years and it's never missed a beat. Unlike my LG crapheap which I no longer use :rotfl:

Sadly either tablet is waay out of budget for us lowly people. And the wealthier side of the family just aren't that keen on me :o

I don't have a laptop so it is ideal for me. Plus using it in bed or on the sofa is easier than using a laptop.;)
