We originally were going to do a DMP with payplan. This was the only option that they were offering us,even though it would of taken over 20 years to pay off the debt that we owed at the time. But who knows how many more years would of been needed to do when all the interest had been added on.
A lovely helpful person sent me some advice and guidelines by way of PM on this site, then left the main decision with us.
We went with McCambridge Duffy and after less than a month after the initial phone call, have had our IVA approved today!
They are the most professional efficient company and I am so impressed.I will be leaving a fantastic review on the IVA forum.
Tonight I will sleep like a baby. The relief is almost too much to bear.I want to shout it from the rooftops and feel frustrated that I can't tell any of my family as only me and the wife knows.
    Anyway that is my story.

    I used Melanie Giles

I researched a lot and stumbled upon iva.co.uk

Melanie is a very active poster on there, offering help and advice to anyone. There were so many people saying thank you to her and her team

I went for her on that basis, and I must say, I agree 100% with everyone who had said she was one of the best
There are 10 kinds of people that understand binary
    Those that do
    Those that dont

Will throw my hat into the ring and try to help. I completed my IVA 6 months ago through Payplan. They did not charge any upfront fees, visited me at home and were open and honest with me. They got the IVA through at a dividend of only 17p in the £; at each annual review my payment was never increased and always remained at £182 month (can't forget that figure!); Whenever I contacted them they were always prompt and helpful. I don't know about others' but I would certainly recommend them.

My IVA was with Payplan and I couldn't recommend them enough. They were always sympathetic to any issues I had and let me rejiggle my payments a couple of times when I had unusual expenses.
Debt as at 12th July 2006 - £61,345
    Debt free 21st Oct 2011.

    All thanks to :money:

I can second that 4 years into 6 year iva - they do treat you more personal than the other companies out their the fact she reads and respond the iva dot co uk forum says a lot.
