There is definately a problem with the transmitter. I have the exact same problem in Woking (pointed to the Guildford transmitter).

The channels disappeared all together late last week, now they are back but with hardly any signal strength. Seems to be anything on C44 (Mux 2) is affected.

Luckily I have other sources (Freesat) for these channels and other Freeview channels are unaffected and have perfect signal strength.

But the OP is using the Crystal Palace transmitter...
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

It's spreading... mine went off around 11:00 today (West Yorkshire) - YTV, C4, 5, ITV2/3 all off, but BBC, Sky News etc channels were ok. Just checked and it's back now - maybe somebody found 50p for the meter...
  • My landing bulb blew this morning, and I remember my mate Steves went last Tuesday, I reckon its something to do with these new fangled wind powered turbines.

Here is site showing any current transmitter issues.

  • Actually just checked and the signal is getting better - now get a blocky picture instead of nothing.

It is probably weather related to a border line TV aerial signal.
