Time and money to go to the gym. Further proof of lack of prioritisation.

Errm - stop being selfish? Manage your time better? Support your husband in his choice to not be verbally abused at work? Get off internet formums and get back to your studying? Just a few ideas for you.

i don't think you guys understand the issue I have

we completely understand the issue you have.

You put your own happiness above that of your partner, and he doesn't like it and wants to have a mind of his own.

Leave, get a job yourself and hire a cleaner, or support the man and try and make a happy family. Give the poor guy a break - coach driving is much nicer work than driving buses of drunk and abusive neds round schemies... if you think it's such a great job, you go do it for a while.

but he is just sat on a bus all day while I have to do everything at home and with my son and tidy up and clean and I#m pig sick of it
From your OH's perspective he might see the situation as "she's sitting around at home with just a bit of studying and the housework to do whilst I get shouted, sworn and spat at all day long." The chances are that he's pig sick too.
You need to speak to each other and a few hours away from your studies when he is not at work so you can re-examine how and why you're each doing what you're doing is probably the best first step. Keep in mind that you are both contributing to the partnership and although your contributions are different they have equal value in the overall scheme of things. As has been said its only temporary.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

  • My husband used to be a self employed plasterer, taking home over £1,000 per week. One day I found him sitting on the edge of our bed, close to tears (if you knew my husband you would know just how bad he must have felt for him to be like that).

He never did a days plastering after that.

A job which makes your life dire and grey is not worth a million pounds. He got a job two weeks later earning £50 a day labouring on a building site.

    Just my twopenneth.

i've asked him why and he says cos he is sick of abuse bus driving, but thats no reason to take a pay cut

I would also say that was an excellent reason, i think you should be supporting his decision not trying to get him to stay somewhere he's not happy. i know my wifes supported me through many job changes some good some bad, including a 20,000 a year paycut the best move i ever made.
