but for a tenner for 6 hours i would prefer him at home doing ironing, cleaning etc
:eek::eek: sorry - you're coming across as a bit selfish! He isn't going to be dropping the amount he brings in, is he? If he knows what you've got lined up for him when he's at home, maybe that's why he would rather do the extra hours![0 -
i've asked him why and he says cos he is sick of abuse bus driving, but thats no reason to take a pay cut0

well i can't do housework cos I have my dissertation to concentrate on. If i fail I might has well have thrown 4 grand in the bin0

That is an excellent reason! Poor bus drivers have it really tough and I don't blame him for wanting to get out of it.
You are coming across as a seriously nasty person. I am starting to really pity your poor husband! I know I would rather my husband be content at work for less money than unhappy.well i can't do housework cos I have my dissertation to concentrate on. He WORKS a minimum of 39 hours a week!!! He is not in the house - he is out grafting so you can do your course! You horrible, selfish person.
I really hope you are a troll.0 -
he isn't guanterred 45 hours a week. he is guanterred 39 at the moment0

but he insn't that unhappy at work, he just likes to moan. he will have problems and abuse in a new job but he can not see that0
-
If your partner is really unhappy then he should change jobs otherwise he could be ill and not be able to work at all.
When your studies are over you can go to work and bring more money into the house.
Whatever your situation is now, it is temporary.
Communication and support is key, be there for your husband in this difficult time and you will get through this.
If he is happier in his job then home life will be better as well.0 -
but he is just sat on a bus all day while I have to do everything at home and with my son and tidy up and clean and I#m pig sick of it0
-
i don't think you guys understand the issue I have0

Yes it is. I have friends who have done exactly the same.
You need to talk to him about it, and suggest some way round it if you feel that way, but if I was him and you came up with the reasoning you have here, you'd get very short shrift.0
