Hi,

I had an email pop up in my gmail account today from moneyexpert.com which used my nickname from these fora.

I was very surprised, to say the least, that my nickname and email addy had probably been harvested, but the biggest worry I had was that the email encouraged me to download a "news tool" from a Norwegian ccTLD in a zip format.

I have never subscribed to moneyexpert.

Does anyone know if this is a scam?

I've had two emails today of the same type - both with my valid email and user id - however I use this id in many places, so I can't say for definte it has been harvested from this website. I've had a look at the moneyexpert website - it's a comparison website and it isn't one that I would sign up to.

Also got the spam email today - I only use my ID for here & hotdeals, so it's been harvested from one of these.
