Wow to only spending £22 at Lidl thats fab! How much do you reckon you would have spent at the usual place you shop? DH popped in Asda before Christmas to pick up some of those reindeers for the kids and he seemed impressed by it! x x

i think i would of probably spent £35 pounds roughly, i find lidls didnt have everything i would normally buy but i definatly got what i needed, i did have to buy kitchen cleaner and pull ups oh and 4 bottles of bacardi breezer type drinks for 79p each (thats for me to drink tonight!!) so shopping would of been a bit cheaper without those added extras.

put £20 petrol in my car, forgot my debit card as i have been taking it out of my purse lately so had to use my xmas money i was given but im not bothered as i would just waste it on silly little things otherwise.

ds1 went to his friends last night and is coming home at four so i want to get the house sorted today and the car hoovered out and washed if possible. i want to wake up in the morning to a lovely new start and clean house and car!! cant wait to see the back of this year to be honest!!

tomorrow i start the "pay as much as you can in 2011" challenge and im really excited!! sad i know!!

i have just joined the grocery challenge, i thought it was an excellent day to start!!

i have put myself down for £200 in january i usually spend £40 odd pounds a week but then i also pop to get milk bread etc in the week. this way i can keep track of exactly how much i spend and try to lower it each month. :cool:

paid £20 to hsbc credit card today, should get my asda/santander credit card statement through next week so will pay some off there aswell.

yay a nsd for me today. :j

just cooking a pasta bake, i have cooked extra pasta so going to put some in the fridge for lunch tomorrow then i can mix it with some tuna as the kids love that too.
got a lamb joint out of the freezer earlier as im going to do a roast tomorrow. so meals are sorted for tomorrow without buying anything i dont really need!!

i will need to get some milk and bread tomorrow so hopefully will be a low spend day here.

going to check my bank in a min and see if i can pay another couple of pounds off my cc.
