They need to get them back on 342, they may not have so much trouble shifting stock then.
There is always the sale though.0 -

I bought the Ted Baker for DD, and that's the only OOTW that I've bought. The ACM offers are pretty uninspiring as well. Come on Mr Boots!!!! If you want us to spend our carefully hoarded money, you've got to offer better than this.
Mmmmm. Just thought. If there's loads left on the shelves and nobody buys much, that'll leave lots and lots for the 75% sale! :j
xx
I totally agree. I haven't bought a single one of the OOTW this year, but the money is backing up nicely, just don't know what to spend it on. :rotfl:
I get more points shopping in Boots online than I do instore as well, so Mr B isn't even encouraging me to go into his shops, (other than to look for glitches and to spend my points vouchers that I get in my mailings)
My Boots stash cupboard/wardrobes/shelves/under beds is/are looking decidedly bare. Well bareish.~ What goes around comes around ~0 -
I was thinking the OOTW's so far have been very disappointing too, haven't even been tempted. Last year I bought the FCUK bag and the S&G hatbox, but I dont really fancy the tote bag either this year, it has the same bits, will be more expensive to buy and most importantly no gorgeous hatbox. I think their purchasing department must have had a shake up since last year.Comping wishlist for 2017
1. Family holiday 2. Christmas presents :rudolf: 3. Fishing stuffThe more you put into life, the more you get out0 -
I agree about a lack of a Boots stash. I often ponder (well, not exactly often, may be once or twice) the 'chicken and egg' situation of this.
Did the stash dry up because of the demise of the old Bootsing thread?
or did the stash dry up at the same time as the demise of the old Bootsing thread?
Could it be the former, cos the latter seems very coincidental?
I used to visit Boots as often as possible, at least twice a week, often taking detours to pop into some good stores, and always had a long list of glitches to hunt for and voucher combinations to try.
Nowadays, it's just not the same......:(“All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.” Charles M Schulz0 -
Keep hearing about the old Boots thread. Are we not allowed to start another one then? Was there argueing on there and thats why it stopped?0

It's very much a chicken & egg situation, and also possibly one of Too many chiefs and not enough foot soldiers IMO. The boots army is still there, but now they seem fight each other, how sad.~ What goes around comes around ~0 -

Think World War 3, and you'll get a rough idea! Least said, soonest mended. But it takes such a long time to trace one of the many different threads.
Oh if only we could have that thread back, on probation, say, till after the 75% sale? Please Lord Martin! The trouble now is that some things are getting duplicated, and others forgotten.

I'll leave it to the youngsters and observe from the sidelines.
Seriously though, there are a lot of newer users who now contribute brilliantly to Boots posts and glitches , :T:T
So perhaps the days of the old boots tarts fighting for glory & seniority should stay buried and R.I.P~ What goes around comes around ~0 -
When I joined this forum the boots thread existed and I found the bootsing community to be friendly, helpful and a really lovely bunch of people. I had a baby and did not get chance to go on for a while and keep up with the thread - but when I next came on for some reason it had turned into a mud slinging slanging match. I did not follow it to the the full at all but got the impression that the a few individuals seemed to be involved in whipping things up - resulting in the whole sticky thread being closed as the Mods had had enough of it.
Sad sad sad and I really miss it(

I am getting mildly excited about the thought of the P & P set being OOTW on Friday! Do we have any news about it please?
I believe CPG said this would be the only No 7 OOTW, so I shall have to pray the Ultimate Collection will be lurking around at the 75% sale (some chance)!
