Today I received an email with the subject "Employment UK" and the name of some web site which, from it's name, looks like it should be for advertising jobs.

Anyone else got this?

Been a member since before this year and got the previous spam email to my username. Will change my email address for here so that if any breaches are now occurring, then I can distinguish them from the last event.

I've just had a spam one which seems very similar, i.e.
"Recruiting in UK:
jobs-maker.com"

I seem to get a lot of these - have been receiving them for months, so don't think they're necessarily as a result of anything which has happened to this site. I just delete them.

Ah, sorry, I wasn't clear. I got that email to a unique and fairly unguessable email address I use for the MSE forums only.

I was wondering if this could be a continuation of the breach this topic is about, or a new one, since I've only just got that spam email the first time. But if you've been getting these for months - on your MSE forums email address if it is unique to this site? - then that pretty much answers my query.

Interesting too see this has never been updated. Also interesting to see that a hack of the Lush website is the 4th top story on the site even higher up than their own hacking was.

Presumably not....but then they haven't worked out that you are a serial troll, who has been banned from this site dozens of times in the past.

Jesus people. Let this die. This crap happens all the time, if some autistic dude can hack the bloody pentagon then mse is small fry...who cares if you got an email with some dodgy software attached? There's plenty of advice out there (and on this site) about how to protect yourself.
