I got that email today, about an hour or 2 ago. But it wasn't to my usual username. It was to an AE is set up in Jan 2009 when I was PPR'd which I have't used since.
It looked very amateur so I deleted it immediately.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

You know this is happening on hotmail addresses - I receive very awkward emails from friends and relatives, probably those who have me on their contact list - the kind that comes from nigeria and canada drug companies. They are not sending it. It's a sort of virus that gets into the contact database and sends emails. So it's not as if the email addresses have been actually compromised - it's more like the virus is doing the job. I'm not techi, just guessing. Gmail has a different version - emails from 'me', my own email address keeps get sent out to myself and it goes directly to spam. Now that's a genuine hack because I actually lost an account. I then changed passwords and it never happened again. I don't know where all these email addresses are stored. It probably needs anti virus protection. Or probably stored in a machine that's not used for any other purpose but sending emails.0
