I don't have a ricer, I push mine through a sieve a little hard going but no lumps. I reheat mine in the microwave for around 3 mins (about the same size as shop bought ones) I always make in large amounts and freeze. My families fave is cheesey Mash add milk, butter seasoning and mature cheddar it's lovely.Remember every waking moment is a chance to turn it all around.;) Knowledge is the key to respect.

I get ds to make my mashed spuds. Firstly he adds milk and butter or creme fraiche then uses an ordinary masher to get rid of lumps, then a hand whisk, beating quickly to get the air in. Yummy!0

King Edwards or Maris Pipers are the best.
Per 1kg of potatoes add 50g butter.
Boil until soft, then drain, put back in the pan and cook for 30 seconds with no water shaking the pan. Take off the heat, add the butter, let it melt for a few minutes then mash. The Summer Holiday of a Lifetime0 -
