Well of course, if the BBC and all other media were to headline their news stories "PROOF: The Royals are not all bast&rds" that'd be different.0 -

That's right - given the state of the pictures, I think you can safely say HRH PW is heading for the title of 'the balding one'.

Great idea.
Everyone wishing to avoid mention of Windsor & Middleton should be given a paid holiday and tickets to / accommodation at / expenses for whatever place to which they intend to escape.
The holiday will end on the day of the Windsor & Middleton wedding, at which point everyone will be back at work.
An amendment to the Employment legislation will provide for the instant dismissal of any employee who at any time during that first working day after the holiday uses a computer, television, radio or whatever else is technologically possible to tune into the Windsor & Middleton wedding.
Anyone who uses the phrase 'Kate and Will' or 'Katey and William' or variation thereof in any conversation during that same day will also be subject to summary dismissal.
I think I might launch one of those online Government petitions if such is still possible.0 -
What I object to is the meeja's declaration that 'the nation' has been all agog about this: see the DM online version http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1330169/Kate-Middleton-Prince-William-kept-guessing-long-years.html
Well, if I am part of 'the nation' may I state firmly that I have had other things on my mind, and no doubt will continue to have. I doubt if the people of Cornwall who have been very recently affected so badly by flooding will have had this engagement in the forefront of their minds.
It's just this sweeping assumption that we have all of us got nowt else to be concerned about. If they wrote 'many people' that would at least be more accurate than 'the nation'.
I wish them no harm. I wish them the same happiness that I have in my own marriage, coming up to my 9th anniversary in a few weeks' time. But I really do not want it day in day out for months on end.Ær ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.
