Spot on, Jesus rejected the rules that were imposed by religious professionals and had been added to God's commandments. For his efforts they paid off the man who betrayed him, leading to his brutal torture and murder through the most painful execution method the Romans could devise. The good news is that he went to the cross willingly by love and returned defeating death and showing his eternal love for you, me and all nations, tribes, tongues and creeds! :rotfl:
