Flylady (and boy) half-term-head-to-head-challenge-type-thing

Well done to Earwig, Nicki, Shell2001 and everyone else taking on the TNG/Penny head-to-head challenge - special well done to you guys for getting us all going and for getting your kids' toys sorted yesterday.

I'm sure Lynz will be along at some point and declare Wobblebottom the winner. What's today's challenge? Mine is to get my photos uploaded and sort the office.

Peem - I'm sure someone on here had a sig that said something like 'doing housework with children is like walking through heavy snow' In other words it's quite difficult when they demand your attention. FLYlady is good as it's little jobs in 15 min bursts and / or a daily routine that isn't huge but makes a difference and gives you more 'quality' time with your kids/family. Yesterday I got my kitchen done while DS aged 3 played with a friend and just needed to check on them at intervals, join in occasionally, read the odd story, etc. I'll often think up activities that will keep him happy and occupied for 15 mins or longer like playdoh, jigswas his trains. etc. I'll also do jobs he likes to join in with like mop the floor. Obviously I only have one child which is easier than two but hope this helps.

TNG - you were swimming too fast for me to see you and where is the photo of you today? Thought you were the one with the great legs!

My apologies, I got swept away last night.

im sure everyone will agree that her achievements are worthy of special prizes, so I will award Wobblebottom with a 50 roll of recycled extra large bin bags- to replace all the stuff gone!

You guys are messing with my head! I dreamt last night about immaculately cleaning and sorting my desk. In my dream my desk was amazing with loads of little compartments and funky drawers. Now i'm awake and i can see that its the same cheap desk with three drawers filled to the brim with pens! Thanks for that! maybe i'll have to join in, hmmm

I know what you mean! I am at w**k for next couple of days and struggling to do stuff when I get home. However, I will be at home on Friday waiting for a WM to be delivered, so should have plenty of time to do Friday's challenge! Never thought I would look forward to a delivery being delayed through the day!! :eek:

hi everone who doing the challange i think you will all agree that i have the hardest job today and that the adventerplayground with two kids and i mile and a half walk each way and it blxxdy raining :mad: still a promise is a promise so of we go i shall check back later to see how you all got on good luck and just think while your doing your housework it could be worse you could be me
