I have the means to afford a property and will be doing in the future...

The bit about being jealous because you are more sucessful, the reasons behind the sucess are what boths me... because you was born earlier, simple as that.

It seem the older generations have taken all the wealth and closed the door behind them, as I say I have worked hard and will get there, but am I just going to say 'I am fine f**k the rest of my generation' no I am not, yet you seem to be quite happy in the fact that you are fine yet the generations below you are going to struggle to have what you got so easily in comparison.

Its to the point that you take pleasure in hearing how the younger generations have to work twice as hard to get half as much and you find that funny which is the truly insulting part.

Just consider that the numbers of people like me and growing while you are all dying, we should stop burning fossil fuels and old people cost a lot to keep... I see a solution there.

I'm a bit old fashioned. My parents taught me to never brag or boast about what you have. It's not nice and not polite. I don't mind annoying nasty bits of work like yourselves but not decent hardworking people who may genuinely priced out or having hard times.

My motivation for joining these type of boards is to counter attack any rotten bears who try and talk the housing market and UK down. It's a load of tosh what they write and I hate the way they gang up on decent hardworking people.

My job is fantastic. My dream come true. The best company I could ever hope to work for. Money is good for UK so here it's excellent.

I can live where I want to in Bangkok. I'm married though. Thai people like to live near family and as my wife comes from Rang Sit then so be it. My house is not a slum. It's nice. 3 bedroom detached.

It suits me because I have dogs including my lovely Akita. I don't want to be part of the ex pat ' Look how important I am' scene.

The wife and I do like a dabble in the adult entertainment here. Hi Ho so what? We are both over 21 and it's fun.

So there you have it.

Of course I'm interested in house prices and want them to rise. Saying that, I've told my tenant that I'll make a big discount for him should he want to buy my place as he's been so good.

Thursday it's off to Phuket with customers then back to Pattaya with the wife for Loy Kratong festival and quite possible a menage trois with my wifes friend Lek.

I found out last week. I got a UK pension forecast from DHSS. I've paid 29 years NI. I've only got to top up £97 one years worth then I'll get full whack pension. That's your money that is. Bet that grates.:beer:
