Twining's Tea. Having just watched Despatch's on Channel 4 and learning that Twining's are closing their North Shield's factory to move production to Poland i will never buy their product again.

That's true, an individual can purchase what they want. Let's see if you say that when you learn your factory is closing and moving to another country for "cheap labour" whilst putting another few hundred on the dole here.

The company enjoyed the fruits of production operatives till they learned they can be corrupted by EU money then put a lot of people on the dole at the same time.

The majority of the time i do mate, when i can find it.

The X Factor generation who have no idea of their own country and more to the point could not care a less apparently.
  • Again its commendable but its not like the tea is british made though is it? Its only packaged there.

I know its about the closure of a factory, but when you make a claim about buying british when in facr you are still buying a foriegn product makes no sense.

the point is there closing the factory and moving to poland in the name of greed.
support the british workers or pay more taxes to support the unemployed ...its your choice.....
I wish the people here had the attitude of the French towards there own jobs...

I don't wish to be argumentative but I can't see any such claim by the OP, just an answer to a question stating that they do where/when they can (As do I)

It may be a foreign product but it is processed here providing jobs - you don't need many fingers to count the number of 100% British products available nowadays.

I am merely registering my support for the OP's comments.
