BT or plusnet?

    Because as you state in the other thread you started you did not cancel the contract, you only put it on hold for six months.
  • Not had my Plusnet ADSL connected yet but I've got my phone line in. Had to phone them a few times for various reasons and they seem to be helpful and organised. Hope the service product is as good as the customer service.
  • I've been with Plusnet for around 16 months now, including a house move and a new phone line installation, and they have been very helpful and service really good. The connection is a very steady one and I've had none of the dramas I had with Ti TT. I hope you will be as fortunate with Plusnet as I've been so far.

    my brother had them for 5 years or so was called force9 first and part of bt as stated by others, and there where no trouble at all , he lived up a hill in the middle of now where as well . i have had bt for 5 years and they have been brill , when i had very faulty line and the engineer came about 3 days running ...my contract is up in 7 days and really due to price i am thinking of going to standalone plusnet ..as money is short , but would like to say with BT...my neighbour has talktalk OMG i seem to live round there sorting it out !
    the truth is out there ... on these pages !!

    If you have a faulty line, then you will get exactly the same Openreach engineer fixing it (eventually) regardless of which ISP you are with.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
