im sure, and that is an awful case, but one personal casestudy of a country with a pop of millions, is not sufficient proof to be honest, it may indicate some link but theres no general overall proof recognised by the agencies responsible, but thankyou for sharing

So what's the sole casue of leukaemia in all those people how didn't live anywhere near a pylon for 12 years?
  • The sellers might be totally different people. Cheaper one looking for a quick sale while the other won't bother moving if they don't get the money they want for their house maybe because they need that amount for the house they've seen so pointless in selling for less. Worth putting an offer in if you like it though, they can only say no after all
  • I almost bought a house on a new estate near pylons. the cables went over the back garden. I'd reserved the house but when I went to see it on a et day, the sound of the cables buzzing got me concerned, Then, I read a piece in a magazine about cows' milk yields suffering when they grazed in a field with pylons.

I changed my mind and cancelled my reservation. No idea if my worries were founded or not but Iwasn't prepared to take thye risk with my family's health.

    :)

Did you see the program where some professor put 50 florescent (pardon the spelling if wrong) and they glowed in the dark underneath the wires.

If that is the case , something must be very bad for that to happen

I'm not interested in getting into discussions with people posting sarcastic comments. I'm happy to believe those who have spent their lives devoted to curing such diseases, especially when the information comes 1st hand. If you are happy to risk your own and your childrens lives based on your own knowledge of the subject then please feel free. This forum is about posting advice based on your own views and experiences.

If you are a doctor or have completed a study on these effects then I'd be happy to hear your informed comments .

We have looked at a house on the market and it had everything, great price, plenty of space but right next to a field with several pylons - no thanks. Its obviously down to the individual but I wouldn't take the risk with my family's health.
