How do you know that?0 -
I'd give them a neutral. Just last week I had to refund on Amazon when I found the CD case was empty
It does happen if you have a lot of stock! 0 -
it must be the monday-grumpy lot... if today was Friday everybody would suggest that it was an honest mistake and not to leave a corrosive feedback.
this board is most ebay selleres so taking down the competition is also part of the plan..
by the way, if you leave a neg or a neutral you will get blocked by the seller (I would) so if you plan to get more bargains from them... forgive!*_*_* Department of Redundancy Department *_*_*0 -

Neutral or Negative depending on how you feel, they are either selling in the shop or on eBay but should not have it for sale in both places at the same time :mad:Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0 -
If it had been a personal seller who started the auction at 99p then I'd definately assume they wanted more money so I would give a neg (as I have done in the past - I won a bike for a very low price, but it was magically 'stolen' the moment the auction ended. I was refunded, but he still got a neg.)
However, if your seller is a genuine business, I'd probably give them the benefit of the doubt on it being a genuine mistake. But I would leave a neutral to put it on record what happened. No trees were killed to send this message, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced. - Neil deGrasse Tyson (@neiltyson)0 -

You'd have to be quite a grumpy seller to be upset with a neutral if you made an error - especially if all you did to recompense the buyer was refund and not even offer something for their next purchase!
I don't know what problems a neutral might cause for a seller, but it really should be "lesson learnt".I love surprises!0 -

Most items like this that I have seen have a note on the listing stating, 'this item is available for sale in other locations and may be removed.........' etc. Did this listing state that? At least then you would have known there was a risk of not getting the item. Though having said that, I often think that sellers put this on their listing as a get out clause if they do not get the price they were wanting (cynic... me?)
Olias
This would be a BIT FAT NEG, in my book.
If they do they won't last long with all the neg fb if someone buys before they pull it out.
Either you sell on ebay, or in your shop.0 -

Ive just done the same thing ( sold something BIN - then I couldn`t come up with the item - Ebay charged me nearly £20 FVF , buyer gave me a neg as well - just been on the chat line with Ebay 2 mins ago and theyv`e refunded me the FVF - result !! )
only fly in the ointment is that they`d allready taken the money automatically a couple of days ago - so they have credited me with it within Ebay - my account reads - ( minus £19.56 )
- since that `s my buying account and I have only used it to sell a couple of things in 5 years - that credit is going to last me a long long long time ! :cool:As Martin says - please be nice - there is no such thing as a stupid question !

Well done
PP/Eb work in mysterious ways, and many don't...
I would have not thought you'd be able to get your FVF back unless the buyer agrees e mutual cancellation...0
