Personally I am Happy to see Posts like yours on the Ticket thread
What I am not happy to see on there is petty comments like some we have read recently
Talk about "Nit Picking"
Any Ticket Offer is Good for me..even if it is not Technically Free
Keep Em Coming

jillsa, Aquatic, Hackeroonie. Thank you.
Free tickets with no spend, or free tickets after you buy something, or chance to win free tickets. I prefer to see all offers in one post and any chat (like this) in another post. If I don't agree with something I either dont read it or skip through it0 -
I don't know whether I should be having ethical qualms about the Momentum Pictures / Barnardos screening of 'Miss Potter' (see the main cinema thread). It's not going to leave Barnardos out-of-pocket, is it, if we all turn up without being formally invited? I'm not having a go at the OP for posting the offer, I'm just wondering if anyone's got more info.0

Firstly I want to say that its great that everyone has been contributing to the ticket thread and lets keep those movies coming! Cheers to all!
Can I just say, Jillsa, these tickets are not totally free as I have to darn well pay for the ink and paper in order to print!!! And hey, lets not forget all the calories I spend typing in the code or scrolling through the ticket thread to scan for preview screenings!!! In fact...what about how much it costs for me to get to the screening! Geez....
When, and only when you bring the screening to me, while I'm sat on my behind (and a very nice behind it is too, I might add!) scoffing my monster munch (oh, so much classier than mere popcorn;) ) swigging my diet pepsi (like diet pepsi is gonna help me get rid of the jabba-the-hut look, which is considered very sexy in Kazachstan I hasten to add)...only then shall I say -hey, that was free!
Please do not be offended by the last two paragraphs - I suffer from a disease called sarcasm. So please ignore that waffle - I was kidding!
Just to clarify - I for one am glad of the free preview tickets even if they aren't technically "free". Not only do I get to see lots of movies without handing over £11.40 per ticket (huge plus!) but I also end up seeing a number of good movies that I might not normally have bothered to watch. Sure, you can't always catch a winner but more often than not I enjoy the movie so I can't complain.
So THANK YOU Jillsa and everyone who posts codes/details of screenings in the other thread. You guys rock!
Ooooh.....still on the topic of free tickets...... I came across a rather interesting ebay ad for tickets to see screenings of The Last King Of Scotland for last Monday. They are quite obviously seefilmfirst tickets and the ebayer was selling them, or rather the information to obtain them (ie the relevant seefilmfirst code), for £2. Interesting, wouldn't you say?
Last note : Big Nothing! Fantastic movie, go watch it!!! We were lucky enough to be invited to a preview screening and I must admit we loved it! Simon Pegg <mmmm> (of Shaun of the Dead fame) is great as small-time con artist Gus who teams up with David Schwimmer (Friends) in a hilarious edge-of-your-seat dark comedy that keeps you engrossed til the very end! No spoiler here mates!;)
So, if you haven't already got tickets to see this, I've added a post in the ticket thread with another way of scoring them! Good luck and enjoy!
Disclaimer: No children/animals/goblins were harmed in the writing of this post. I do not really look like Jabba-the-Hut...well, I do sometimes, mostly after a night out. Monster Munch really is tastier than popcorn - all donations, especially Flamin' Hot or Pickled Onion gladly appreciated. Kazachstan really is a cool country but they don't really think my derriere is that cute - things would be different were I an olympic gypsycatcher!
;)My mind is mush so please ignore this entire post and delete if necessary. Cheers! :j:j Please blow me a kiss if I have helped you.:j :j

Thanks Riyazi hon, mwah!
I'm around but I've been pipped at the post so many times in the last few weeks
;) which goes to prove how good our free-preview-ticket MSE's are!!! Kudos to everyone!! Lets keep those tickets coming!
So many good movies coming up - hopefully we manage to get tickets to most of them
;)
I'm gonna post a few links for those who may want to try their luck at getting premiere tickets/tickets for upcoming movies. If mod's feel it is necessary to delete as it is out of place please do so.

£11.40?!! Crikey! I thought my local cinemas were expensive! A couple of months later, you could probably go out and buy the DVD for that amount (or maybe pay the actors to come round and re-enact the film in the comfort of your own home).
Mmm, monster munch...Ooo, you're a bad influence!

Eating the cardboard box the popcorn comes in is usually tastier (and fresher) than the popcorn inside!0
