How Can I Find Out If There Are Any Free Tickets To Cineworld In Aberdeen0
-
has anyone actually phoned or visited their local cimema and asked for free tickets?
not sure if I would have the nerve to do it though0 -
Any screenings of Flushed Away anywhere else than London? I'm really really really really hoping for one in Liverpool soon!!!!
Or any comedy/animated film actually! There seems to be a lot of free screenings for dramas, which is good for people want to see them. But I don't think there has been any free screenings for animated and or/family films since Cars.. So I'm hoping!

I've noticed that the times tonight for the 'The Last King Of Scotland' are at an earlier time of 6:15 instead of the normal time of 6:30 which I think I'll be about 10mins late for.
Does anyone think that it might still start at 6:30 but just stating 6:15 to get people down there earlier?0 -
Thanks for posting that J2K, hadn't realised it was earlier, will have to get the earlier train. Not sure about when it will start, if it advertises 6.15 that is probably the time it will start, although I have been to some that started about 5 mins late.Sorting my life out to give a better life to my:heartsmil 2 gorgeous boys :heartsmil0

Ok, "Jaffa"..
I didn't mean any offense using capital letters in one word, or !!
There was another "No discussion on this thread" message 3 messages before yours, so I figured I needed a few capital letters for some people to notice it and hopefully get the message this time.
And no, my short "No discussion" message is not discussion, it's a(nother) reminder to you and other people who don't follow the rule of the thread to follow it. It had to be posted there for those people to see it.
But why you'd then post a n o t h e r comment under the "No comment" message, I will probably never understand..
Anyway, it should hopefully be easy for you to understand this now: All discussion, questions, comments and so on goes h e r e on t h i s thread.
It would be great if we could stop discussing the discussions now, and discuss free cinema tickets instead0 -
I attach a copy of my post on the Free tickets chain,
As this is a discussion forum what do you all think?
COPY MESSAGE:
Free Odeon Ticket
Buy any two promotional bottles of sauce from the Tabasco range and bag a free ticket to Odeon cinemas.Applications must be sent in by 31/12/06
UPDATE at noon 20.11.06
As pointed out by Little Jaffa, this is not technically a "Freebie" as you do have to buy the product and post in an application.
However I do believe the place for my post is here and not on the discussion board - unless we create more confusion for everyone and have a "not strictly free cinema tickets" chain for all the free tickets you need to buy something for like the Times, Heat, Empire, Total Film, The Guardian, Vue etc if you have to buy the paper or magazine or call a number. I think there is confusion enough without thatJillsa0 -
OH FOR GOODNESS SAKE
How a**L can you get - strictly speaking none of the tickets are 'free'. we 'pay' for internet access, we 'pay' for the heat magazine, we 'pay' the petrol getting there or shoe leather, etc, etc, etc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The ticket is of less cost to us that having to BUY the ticket at whatever price the cinema chain charges. GET OVER IT!!!!!!!
By nit picking and catty comments and posting in the wrong place (FTR Jillsa - I think you were right to post that on the tickets thread - I dont believe it fits on the discussion thread) it will spoil a nice, friendly, cost effective solution to a night out. Would you rather Jillsa hadnt posted the offer?? I wouldnt. I might not take the offer up - but thats my choice based on good information and I am grateful she spotted it and took the time to post it. so THANK YOU to all those people who DO take the time to do this and if anyone objects I suggest they unsubscribe to the thread or seek therapy!
BE NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0
