Looking to the Future ... My Mortgage Free Dream

I love cooking Jellie but I don't always have the time or inclination. My kitchen is quite small and I don't have many decent cooking utensils, so that puts me off, but I do realise that if I want to save money for the mortgage then I have to cook my own rather than buying all the time.
In better news, my budget is £65 better off this morning and I have pre budgeted all coming in offset against wedding and xmas to be paid out, and I didn't put in £65 that I would normally pay from my wages this month. That brings the taget down which helps a lot, and cheers me up a bit.
Going to have an indoors day this afternoon and me and dd2 will make her advent calendar ready for tomorrow. We have a playmobil one that she had last year and she loves it.
I did a survey this morning got all the way to the end and it wouldn't validate which was annoying.0 -
i've had a few problems with surveys lately too! Have a lovely day indoors, the playmobil advent calendar sounds really good, can't believe it's that time of year already!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0

I seem to have lost my cooking mojo! We've been quite good and made up some meals for the freezer but we never seem to want to eat them. I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things over Christmas. If I can get a bit more of variety of meals in the freezer it will help!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0

I really wanted a takaeaway again tonight, I don't know what is wrong with me! I didn't have one and made another concoction in the kitchen (just for Jellie). Toaday I made flat breads and used up some left over fajita packet mix with chicken and mushrooms, with lashings of grated cheese. It didn't look anything special and it wouldn't win any awards, but it filled me up and tasted pretty good so I'm happy.
Didn't get a takeaway either.0 -
Well done you- I had pasta with Philadelphia etc so sort of cooked!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0

Hope you had a lovely day with your little one making her advent calender.
I have been having a few survey issues too grr!0 -
Haven't attempted any more surveys since I had that issue, but I have managed to avoid going to the shop whilst at work so that's £6 I've transferred over to savings.
The snow finally arrived last night, not enough to stop everything just enough to disrupt. Certainly nothing like a lot of the country have been having.0 -
Well it's the weekend! Not that it means anything to me as I'll be working.
The roads are really icy here today and I don't think my car has moved since wednesday. Still all saves petrol I guess.
Had fish and chips takeaway tonight and out for a meal tomorrow night. Also saw some official wedding pics from when DD was a bridesmaid earlier that I would love to buy copies of. More money!
Is Dooyoo not working for anyone else?0 -
