Why not send her the cost or an SAE for her to send it back and refund once you have received it. Don't forget she maybe genuine and feel she is being scammed.

Up to now, I have always offered refunds if the buyer is not fully satisfied and it has never been abused. Thinking of changing now though!

Unless you are sure it is refillable I would def refund this transaction. But would certainly try to find out the answer first.

You only refund when you received item back in the condition you sent it in..ebay will tell her that if she complains...and if she is right you will also have to refund the cost of returning.
It doesn't matter that you have said no refunds ,because you are unsure and she has every right...Now if it turns out you are right then you can say no refund and she will also have to pay you again to post this back to her...
Explain that to her and she may not bother persuing it...

its definately angel, my friend bought it for me from fenwicks, and it was half full, but no box, she only paid £10 for it. i have sent her links to sites selling it stating its refillable, which is where i got my info from, i have also sent her links to other ebay items of the same, stating it is refillable.

I feel i did try my very best to be honest, i cant do much more

i have had a similar one tonight a buyer has stated that her item has not arrived as "excellent" condition as described (clothing). however i have looked at the auction and it clearly states "used and in good condition" which i believe was accurate. the buyer is now threatening a -ve and will report to paypal for a refund. whilst i consider myself as a fair ebayer, (i believe that the item i sold was as described in auction) i am not threatened or concerned to receive a neg. i have 100% feedback with almost 400 score.

no ive emailed her various links to other items which also state refillable, ive also mailed her links to perfume sites which also state refillable, which is what i based my description on... not heard anything yet... she only has 14 feedback, all positive, so will wait & see, at least if she complains i can say i did contact her to try and resole & forward the emails as proof.

hope she cant be bothered or she doesnt know how to... is that mean or just tight?

    lol

No I don't think it is mean because if she has a genuine complaint about your product, then she will be prepared to argue her case. If she ignores it I would be tempted to think she was pulling a fast one.

Maybe I am too cycincal, spent too much time working with the public!!!
