Will make sure that mine is tucked in behind the existing one, ready for deployment on the day of requirement.

Knowing my luck, I would find just that type of jobsworthy! ;)

Cant get a new disc unless you have a concurrent one without paying for the month before it starts so pretty irrelevant:p
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

Have you noticed how much extra they still charge for a 6 month disc - 10%.
I always pay in full as I can't earn that in interest in any bank account. I see loads of tax disc where people have only paid for 6 months - when interest rates are this low it's just another example of us being ripped off. The only time I paid for a 6 month disc was when I was selling a car and when my OH's car tax dropped from £120 to £90 this year and it was cheaper to pay for 6 months.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D

Really zilch to do with interest rates - its the admin and processing costs of an extra tax disk/reminder per year.
  • Plus you get an extra entry per year into the Seat Ibiza prize draw if you buy it online/over the phone! :D:p

I know what you mean but the 10% varies from band to band (£4.50 for Band D and £21.75 for Band M). I'm sure it doesn't cost them varying amounts to send out a tax disc/reminder. If it was just for admin I would have thought there would be a straight 'admin' charge of say £10 per disc, just a thought....
